I have seen that the Admin has responded to one person in a ticket

I may keep this thread open until we get a response from Sudo, publicly.

WE ARE NOT HERE TO RAISE PITCHFORKS AT THE ADMIN.
The goal is to bring attention to this issue to the admin in a non threatening manner.
If you can't do that in this thread then I may block you. This is your only warning.

Btw, frustration is okay!
However be careful when speculating. We truly don't know things until we hear from the admin themself.

+1s are counted by the poll, not the comments
I do realize that I don't have anon poll on by accident but is a bit late for me to fix that

To Do List - "Edited 4 years ago"

Changelog - On the latest posts there's just maintenance

It's also been 3 years since the mention of "working on mods" (let me know if there's another post)

It has been long enough that we have been kept mainly in the dark for updates for Years

Monthly or Quarterly updates on how things are doing, Admin. It's all we ask.
Especially on the most important thing this site desperately needs currently: Mods

Busy with all those help desk tickets? You know who would help? Mods.

^ idk if the admin responded to your ticket, but they responded to mine within 9 hours (15 hours [timestamp of my ticket] - 6 hours [timestamp of admin's response]) with the following:

Hi, thanks for reaching out and for the feedback; this will be taken into consideration for future site development.

If you run into any other queries or suggestions you'd like attention on, please let me know and I'll check on this again for you.

probably should point this out even tho I'm half convinced its a general message

(´꒳`) .   .   .

It's been 15 days and I got Nothing

not sure how I feel about that response at all either. since it does feel generic and not truly responding(?)
idk am used to companies/sites making statements kinda like that to keep a mask up, so it's hard for me to take that as genuine atm

keep in mind that this is not conclusive like "The admin is not being genuine! I know this, source: trust me bro!", am just stating a feeling

I'll still wait until May

Beta_

^ may i suggest bumping the ticket by commenting under it? i also tried to keep my ticket brief since i feel like shorter tickets are more likely to be paid attention to or smthing?

also yeah i agree with the response being more general but again that's speculation and we don't know if the admin actually considered it or not.

yeah, am aware that we truly don't know yet (is why I said I'll still wait until May)

I'll give around a week before I try bumping

Rendrassa

I really hope we receive a proper response.

Personally, I think it would be great to have mods, but if you can't pay for them, it could be based on voluntary work.

Personally, if a mod recruitment campaign were to be opened and based on voluntary work, I'd be delighted to apply, as Toyhouse is a site that I love and to which I'm very active (connected every day, with a few rare exceptions).

Vallien_Fulki

@Rendrassa

me too.

This is part of the reason that I'm grabbing my toons and moving them to another platform. I really got invested but then with the lack of oversight and the fighting and drama around who is allowed to do what where and the damned discourse? I'm out.

Thought it'd be worth showing this here

I saw.
Edit: of freaking course the OP is a minor so I can't comment, I'll just say here

"am neutral with this statement atm
after all actions speak louder than words"

I'll likely still keep this thread unlocked until May
