The Web is a Magnus Archives thing! tl;dr there are various fear-based entities/powers that control the supernatural events in the story, with the Web being one of the most active in terms of being actually 'sentient'. The Web is based on the fear of Spiders, but also of your will not being your own, being controlled, and of being manipulated (akin to a spider weaving a web to catch its prey). Because of this, the Web sort of has a thing where because the fear is of being controlled or manipulated, the entity itself and its disciples have to be fairly cunning schemers.

It also tends to manifest as addictions, due to the way in which people seem to be 'trapped' in them almost akin to a spiderweb. She's an avatar of it, meaning she's sorta a disciple of the paranormal entity.

- does stains have issues moving around considering he can’t bend his legs like a usual dog? / do people opt to carry him instead?

howdyadoitsnatty they and the Psychic were all human and joined the circus willingly. They already had something about them naturally that made it a bit harder to fit in with society and were drawn into the circus. Their bodies went through some changes to fit Guillermo's look for a circus (even MORE eyes on the psychic, Turvey's deformed extra arm turned into 2 perfectly functioning extra ones). The only person that did not go through any bodily changes in the circus was Topsy, he was born as he is now and joined with his sister. Everybody in the circus was human at one point, minus Stains and Kitty Kitty since they're animals. 

Question: So Maya's bio says she's an avatar of the web, what does that mean?? Is it part of some big organization?

PuppiDogz since he's never lived another way, he's adapted and walks and runs pretty well. He may look a bit clunky when he walks but his shoulders and hips have a full range of motion/rotation so he can move the rods pretty well :)

And he doesn't mind being carried but hes pretty hard to pick up since he's basically like a dense sack of burlap and stuffing. The stronger characters will sometimes but most people just let him walk with them. One character that I didn't upload on TH yet is Daisy, she's like a wooden marionette and loves Stains, he's like her personal pet and she will often carry him around just because she loves him.

A few questions about Psychic (who is super pretty btw):

1. Do all of her eyes see as well as the others?

2. Is she actually psychic or is that just her name?

3. What sort of things does she do for fun?

Nocturnal_Critter they get along fine! The right head is a bit more grumpy than the other so he may growl or like ignored the other one but the heads are treated pretty equally so there isn't too much to fight over. It's like a sibling relationship so they'll get annoyed sometimes but at the end of the day they're fine again.

Question: How does Halo keep humanity safe? Is he like 1 persons guardian angel or does he just like to make people happy?

1. The main eyes that see the best were the original 2 (basically normal human placement ones) and the giant chest one. The other ones are kind of out of focus and in the background unless she focuses them, it's so she doesn't get sensory overload kind of like how newborns have blurry vision at first but she can control it. The original 2 and chest are always good vision but the other smaller ones are the ones that can change!

2. She doesn't have a name yet so that's just a placeholder for her position in the carnival. She's not an actual psychic either, she can just read people very well and enjoys rocks and incense for the sensory stuff.

3. I don't really have anything set in stone for her yet but I think she'd enjoy reading, cooking, rock collecting, and making stuff like bath salts and scrubs. She really likes tactile stuff so you wouldn't catch her with an e-book.

Question: Why did Wisteria get/make the angelic steel finger things? And does the little veil have any significance or is it just her aesthetic?

Wisteria got her angelic steel claws custom-made from Carmilla, she felt they could come in handy because they work so effectively on other demons. The veil is mostly for her aesthetic, but she wore one a lot as a human when her husband died. It reminds her of how content she is with her life now because she took a drastic measure to save herself.

_vent - (ahaha, thank you! I worked hard on her so I'm glad you think so!) Yes, her eyes are 100% black! Christine can't see clearly in the dark, but she can see the general shapes of things, even if it's pitch black. She does fly fairly often, but only when she's heading somewhere by herself. She prefers walking with people (:
