Faun Slootmaekers

Backstory

Started summoning demons when he was 6, after hearing rumours of how to summon the terrifying demon from kids at school.  The demon turned out to be far from threatening.  He got addicted to it after that and continued to summon demons and test out strange stories of summoning them.  When he was 11, he started capturing spirits from the woods in jars.  One day he was chasing one and came across a terrifying demon in the forest, who claimed Faun had been stealing the spirits from her.  As punishment, she turned him into a half-jackelope, giving him the ears, antlers,etc. but let him remain mostly human as long as he released the spirits.  Faun did as he had to but the demon refused to take back the punishment and he was left like that.  When he was 17, he met Aatos at Aatos's mother's funeral.  They became friends and moved into an apartment in the city together when Faun turned 19.

Ongoing Story

Aatos and Faun are living together and Faun is still very interested in summoning demons, though Aatos likes to mess with his summonings.  He has grown friendly with some of the demons, especially ones that show up frequently due to Aatos messing with the summonings.  He tends to get mad at Aatos for chancing his luck with demons, especially when all he's asking for is some food which he could easily get himself.
