About
His composed and almost nonchalant personality helps him stay unnafected by strong emotions even in the toughest of situations. He has no interest in conversating nor listening to things that are a waste of his time, the majority of what others express seem meaningless to him.
On the other hand he's very philosophical on his own and enjoys sharing a good conversation with anyone likeminded or simply pondering about the things around him in silence. He's quite fond of Stormwhisper and they often spend time discussing life, lessons and history together.
He enjoys standing or sitting alone whilst taking in everything around him through his hearing, smelling and paws. He can often wander off for several hours and get to the most unreachable places to meditate.
Disability
His sensitive hearing, smell and touch makes him a crucial part of the hunting and patrol-force. His congential visual impairment has never been an issue for him. He thinks the world to be a disorderly mess, created to be confusing, overwhelming and incomprehensible.
His near-blindness dials the world down to a more grounded existence and while hunting and guard duty his blurred vision and high concentration helps him distinguish even the smallest movement and colorshifts in his environment. Clouded days are his preffered weather as bright sunlight and nighttime both hinder his vision. Thankfully their home consists of deep, thick forest so he rarely has any issue getting by.
Demeanour
Bright light and white appearances in his vision heavily submerge and take over everything else, hence why he has a strong dislike for it. The few times he's lived through snow he's always restorted to staying inside, with that he also finds Crowsong unappealing because of her, in his opinion, jarring appearance and fur.
Him and Crowsong seldom interact but he will most often avoid looking in her direction whenever doing so. In their younger years he'd also tag along on his sister's and Chougsneak's troublemaking.
Because of his expressless personality and appearance he can be difficult to read, although he is always sincere and straighforward with his intentions. Aside from the shortcoming of emotions he's quite easy to get along with as he's very unproblematic and calm.

They have been on and off over a long time, they both know they shouldn't pursue a relationship because of her being a medicine cat. Even though a bond between them might be accepted with persuasion; their uncertainty leaves it uncompleted.
Talontail [ Sister ]
Although he struggles to express it, he loves her wholeheartedly. As independent as he is she cared for and protected him throughout their lives. They've always relied on each other for support with a strong sibling bond and unbrekable trust.
Coalclaw [ Father ]
On the outside they might come across as neutral towards each other but they've in fact always been really close. Coalclaw was ready to protect his son in any situation but he also saw and deeply admired his talents and independency.
Nightfall [ Mother ]
Her dying to birth complications in his first moments in life left him without any memories of her, he has complicated feelings about his mom which he struggles to make sense of. He does find a strange comfort in faint, uncertain memories of her voice; speaking to him as from a fleeting dream.
