- Alex's favorite sport is American football, but he adapts well to any sport he tries to play. He also has dabbled in baseball and even basketball. He has a bit of a natural talent.
- Alex currently stays with Jayden and Tucker in their modest camper, but he didn't leave his mom and dad until he was sure they would be safe in government care.
- He typically tries not to swear, since he prefers to be good mannered and kind to everybody, including strangers. Swearing for him is rare.
- Alex knows how to and enjoys knitting, although he doesnt get a lot of time to do it. His mom taught him.
- He is dyslexic, but fairly quick to math. Depsite it being difficult for him, he's trying to learn ASL so that he can speak silently with his partners.
- His right leg is amputated at the knee for reasons entirely unrelated to the apocalypse. He had an accident falling out of a treehouse at around 8 years old.
Alex was raised as an only child by his parents, taught to be open minded and kind to everybody as well as humble. Sometimes, his blind optimism is more dangerous than he'd like to think.

Originally best friends who spent their adolescence together, Tucker and Alex are inseperable. It was only near the end of the apocalypse that Alex accepted that he loved Tucker in a romantic sense, when his heart was still raw after Sparks's abandonment.
Alex had always appreciated Jayden's careful, caring nature as a friend but it was only after he was forced to open up that he really realized he was in love with the both of them, but was confused on the feeling of loving two people at once. Alex loves how gentle Jayden was, and always is, when talking to him.
Nero only stayed at the camper briefly, but he left Alex with a fond memory. He does miss him now, and sometimes he wonders where he is and if he's okay.
Alex never talked to the Three all that much, but he can always appreciate people that have kind hearts and good intentions. Alex has no problem assissting them, whether it be finding dinner or defending them in a fight.
Alex was the first of the three to meet and welcome Sparks and Nix into their home. Nix in particular reminded him of Nero, being roughly the same age and with a similar demeanor to him, he almost used his presence as a way to forget his curiousness about the other boy's wearabouts. Besides that, he got along well with Nix and was shocked to the core when they died, helping Sparks with the burial without any hesitation.
Sparks was Alex's first real lover that didn't come with strings attached, and from the beginning of their relationship he tried his best to be the best partner he could be. Truly, he was head over heels for the traveler he'd miraculously run into. He found most of his motivation and comfort in him, and for a handful of years they routinely made promises to each other about what the future would hold. When Sparks broke the promises and vanished much like Nero after days of isolation, Alex was distraught. He missed Sparks more than anything else in the world, sometimes even more than his own parents because at least he could verify their safety. While he understood Sparks's reasoning for going, he sometimes feels resentful that he had let someone into his heart at such a vulnerable time, allowing this to happen.
