- He plays a keyboard which was gifted to him by his old bandmates. It is one of his most prized possessions. The keyboard is magical and is stored within one of his various rings. It has the capability of floating and moving with just a thought from Skimbleshanks.
- He has had several names in his life. His given name was River, then after that he took on the name Rumpleteazer, and then Mistoffelees. Each time he takes a new identity the old one either dies or goes 'missing'.
- While all magic interests him he seems to have a strange obssession with the support side of Holy Magic - specifically magic that involves interacting with the dead or bringing the dead back to life. Necromancy sparks his interest but it isn't something he actively pursues knowledge of.
