Annaliese

Anna is a gentle soul who smiles as easily as she cries. She generally worries too much and talks too much and sings too much, but she means well and is very liked among people. Though getting overwhelmed occasionally she is curious to try new and strange things as long as they are not dangerous or overly stupid. Anna can’t stand random stupidity and general assholeness - for her it’s cool to be mean.

Anna’s puppy-like personality makes somebody believe she can be bossed around but she’s actually quite good at standing her ground and not letting people walk over her. However she can get a bit cold, since her tolerance for idiocy is very low. If you did something stupid, she thinks you deserve whatever is coming to you.

Anna was born and raised in the witch community on one of the asteroids of The Isles. She liked it fine but also found the community narrow minded and gossipy, and wanted to see the world a little bit. She has also never been sure if she’s going to be a witch like her mother and almost everyone in the community.

When Anna was old enough, she left to the bigger city to attend normal school instead of being home schooled by the witches, and sort of stayed there after she turned finished her studies. She continued work as a barista in the café bar, that was popular among the rare intergalactic travelers, and met all kinds of colorful people.

However when it was time for go back to the community she managed to talk herself a deal with her mother – instead of going back to study witchcraft she’d learn on the road whatever her magical mentor could teach her. It was fine for mother, who knew the mentor in question and thought it would probably do good for both of them to have some company.
