About
Juno is a young nightmare Huntress from Greece. She studies a lot about stars and the zodiac signs and believes in the power of hope and dreams. Even thou she is really young and new to hunting nightmares, she is known for her great knowledge and her talent for slaying down nightmares of all kind. She is also often seen on the oracle of delphi, where she roams around some powerful dream souls and prays for a good hunt.
Design
- She can be drawn with or without her axe!
- The chains on her axe and her earrings are NOT optional. Same goes for the pattern on the axe.
- Her body type is slender!
- Angsty art is allowed with her, as well as body horror and gore! However, it's not preferred.
Palette
Character
Juno is a gentle being. She is very rarely seeing overly emotional or even angry. She believes in peace, and that every being can approach you friendly and peacefully, as long as you appear peacefully to them. This is one of many reasons why she secretly fears nightmares a lot: Nightmares will never approach you peacefully. Never ever. But she will still hunt and fight those beings, so the beings she wants to help can sleep and rest peacefully. She doesn't care about the money or the fame. She just wants to help and to protect others. And so, she fights her fear of nightmares every night to protect the world she lives in.
Besides this, Juno is mostly calm, friendly and most of all, curious. Even though she is often a bit cautious with new things, she loves to learn new stuff. And she loves to talk about astrology and the stars. She heavily believes in horoscopes and "the language of stars and starsigns" and could talk hours about it. Especially the "North Star", which she respectfully calls "Eve" is her favorite star. She can name you every star sign in the sky and believes that she can only get along with people, who have certain zodiac signs. However, she will try to get along with everybody, while telling them a lot about stars. She is not a being who is active on social media or sth like that. She enjoys the moment and watches the stars.

Axe "Caelis"
Strength:
A powerful magical axe made out of rose quartz and pyrit. Can cast powerful magic. When it starts to glow, its attacks get stronger and leave behind glowing scars, which burn like fire. Can also call pink small dream ghosts.
The Language of Stars
Strength:
Claims to be able to talk with stars. She can hear their thoughts and acts as a messanger between nightsky and earth.
Pastel Ghosts
Strength:
The pink pastel ghosts, which can be summoned with the axe, act kind of as Juno's familiars. Can telepathicly talk to them. They act a bit like bunnies who wanna cuddle all day. Very wholesome, except against Nightmares.
Story
Stardreams and Stardust
Juno lived ever since she was born in Greece. She was an orphan and grew up in an orphanage. Some days over there were pretty hard for her, but over time she got more and more liked. At first, the kids made fun of her. Some even bullied her. But she always smiled and came to them with kindness. They were confused at first, but slowly they got along with her and some even befriended her. She noticed some of them had troubles with sleeping and acted more and more rough. That was when she discovered, that Nightmares disturbed their dreams. At the young age of 15, she started researching about those beings, and also got into astrology and horoscopes, since she believes that she can predict the future with them. Also, she realised at nighttime, she can hear the stars under the open nightsky. She tried to protect and calm down her friends with calming methods, but it was no use. When she was 18, and got to leave the orphanage and moved into a small apartment near some ruins, she learned more about this world. And about nightmare hunters. That's when she decided to become a nightmare Huntress: To help those who are in trouble and give them calm nights.

One of the dreamguardians of the oracle of Delphi. Juno often talks to her to get some advice for her hunts. Elpida is secretly admiring Juno's love for the stars and how she is able to talk to them, and she is sometimes a bit jealous of it but would never admit it. Juno thinks of Eplida as a mentor and a big help, and Elpida thinks the same of Juno. They're both just too cautious to express their thoughts on each other, otherwise they would be epic friends.
Andromeda

A famous Nightmare Huntress, who lost her legs in an incident and now fights with an modified body. Juno admires her deeply for her determination and wished to be learning from this chill Neko. Andromeda agreed, and she is amazed by how fast Juno learns. However, her visible fear of nightmares, even when they are small, is bothering the mature Neko.
