The fourth homunculus created by the Alchemist. Amalthea's role was to be an up close bruiser with electricity-packed punches and kicks. She worked well with all her party members, often going the extra mile to protect her allies at the expense of her own health. This pattern unfortunately intensified until her party members felt like Amalthea didn't trust them to do their jobs--until finally Amalthea was too worn out from overexerting herself to protect herself during an important fight and was forced to retire.
Amalthea puts on a gentle and mild-mannered facade when interacting with others--even close friends who know it is a facade--but likes to cut loose when fighting against monsters or sparring with the other homunculi. She values including others and making sure everyone is comfortable before she focuses on taking care of herself, however it comes across as a desperation to make sure the other person is able to function in case something happens to Amalthea--perhaps a leftover bad habit from before she was forced to retire.

Summary
Amalthea replaced Nagi as the Alchemist's hard-hitter melee fighter, and Nagi doesn't hold a grudge--but their relationship is still complicated.
Since retiring, Amalthea has worked as a courier--enjoying the trek around the countryside. She keeps up her friendly disposition around her customers, but when she returns to the Mansion she becomes a bit more forceful about her wants and needs. Tasha is particularly good at turning that against Amalthea, but Nagi and even Cassandra have trouble with knowing how to react after some of Amalthea's coaxing. Thankfully, no one seems to begrudge her as she immediately makes amends on the rare occasion she does cross a line.

Trivia
• Not vegetarian, but avoids red meats.
• Most flexible of all the homunculi.
• Can shoot lightning from her limbs, and use the elctricity to increase her reaction time. When storming she can call lightning or sueprcharge herself.
• Roommates with Stella and Nagi in reverse isekai AU.
• Prefers painting landscapes, but wants to make a comic someday.
