a monster who emerged from a dimensional rift in the basement of a local hotel and simply never left.
the butler, unsurprisingly, works as a butler at amaebi’s hotel. despite their origins, they have no intentions to kill anyone, and are genuinely fulfilled by their occupation.
they sometimes grow agitated by other monsters disturbing their work; although it never shows in their expression, the rotary phone on their back will ring incessantly when they are upset.
their phone is otherwise functional and will ring when the hotel is dialed. they usually pass it on to amaebi.
they use the hand on their tail for most activities. they can move extremely quickly, including along walls or ceilings, and they seem to know nearly every corner of the hotel.
they can be summoned by ringing a bell twice in succession. no matter where they are, they will report to wherever the bell was rung within the minute.

design

their head is a marble statue and cannot emote or speak. they typically express themself through body language, but the plants inside their head occasionally move to match their mood as well.
can grow different plants in their head, but typically have red daisies.
the part of their chest above the collar has an inscription describing the statue head, but its very faint and hard to make out.
