Chen is a diligent mangaka who always seems like he's daydreaming, though that's not completely false. After all, he's always dreaming about romantic scenarios for his characters. Though when it comes to romance involving him in real life, Chen is completely clueless, since he's what a lot would consider a late bloomer. Chen would always have this blank look on his face, and he only smiles around people he's comfortable with or when he's just being polite (but he's not good at forcing a smile. His force smile makes him look like a drawing of a barely curved line was plastered on his face).

Chen can be too honest when he's chatting with his friends. For example, he would be discussing about ero BL with Coco and would say the most explicit things without shame, embarrassing his friend. Of course he's not going to do this with people who aren't comfortable with explicit conversations, he'll only bring up these topics with his close friends. When it comes to strangers, Chen mostly doesn't care about them unless they're in trouble, since he feels bad leaving someone when they're in pain or when they're really struggling with something.

Chen lived a peaceful life throughout his childhood. His parents took good care of him and Chen has always been a well-behaved kid. If he broke anything or messed up, he'll hurry to his parents and ask for help. While he's scared of how they'd react, he's even more scared of the consequences if he hid any of these accidents. While Chen does have a good relationship with his parents, one thing he doesn't like to open up about to them the most is his love life. Even though Chen's parents don't mind who their son dates, Chen always felt embarrassed talking about this topic since he has zero relationship experience and zero confidence when it comes to love.

Unlike how he feels about his art skills and academics, when it comes to love he immediately feels insecure. He had a few crushes in middle school to high school, and never confessed to any of them. Not only was it because he felt he was too young to get in a romantic relationship, but Chen didn't feel confident being in one.

Just because Chen doesn't like discussing about his love life, doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy romance. He's read a few shoujo manga and while they were enjoyable, they weren't satisfying enough for Chen. As soon as Chen picked up his first BL manga, he got hooked in the genre. While manga of course shouldn't be used for relationship advice, Chen would keep some of the romantic scenarios in his mind. No matter how bad the stories are, Chen would still find comfort and joy in them. Before he knew it, he started drawing seriously and improved fast, passionate to make his stories come to life. Chen made art accounts during his high school year and after he graduated, he decided to sign up for a multimedia arts course. During his break, Chen received an email from a company.

Chen was approached by an editor and just to make sure it wasn't a troll, Chen researched the email and company. After confirming that it was indeed a legitimate email, Chen agreed to take the job. His first manga was a fluffy and ero story, which motivated Chen to dig up his old ideas, improve them, then bring the story to life. Before he knew it, his first manga became a hit. Not only was the fluff part of the story incredibly adorable, but the ero scenes were extremely lewd. The characters were also lovable and hilarious, and with how successful his first manga was, Chen received thousands and thousands of followers in his social media.

Thanks to this experience, Chen was able to create BL manga and show his stories to the public. While it is difficult to balance college work and manga work, he's able to finish his works in time with his assistants. He would even ask his friends in college to help him so he could finish his work early.

• Chen is someone who's fine with any story in the BL genre as long as the characters are attractive. He's fine with fluffy or dark stories, though his stomach churns at gore. He doesn't read tragedy no matter how much he dislikes the characters, and he'll most likely pick up a story if there's ero scenes.
• Chen has always love manga and prefers it over any other media. He's only interested in watching animations or dramas if he has a friend to watch with, or if the story is enough to pique Chen's interest. The same goes for webtoons, games, visual novels, etc.
• Chen usually wears oversized clothing since he thinks he looks unattractive in thinner clothing.
• Chen would mindlessly draw people he finds attractive.
• He gets scared by gangster-looking men and would do anything to get out of their presence without them noticing him.
• Chen isn't interested in sports whatsoever and would only play sports videos in the background. He doesn't like being forced to exercise and isn't interested in getting a "perfect" body.
• Chen dislikes alcohol, not because it tastes bad, but because he has low alcohol tolerance and gets needy when he's drunk. He hates showing that side of him, so he avoids drinking alcohol.
• Chen's penname is green tea because the color of green tea is his favorite color.
