02 — Personality
monroe is most certainly a modern day hippie. they drive an rv covered in 60s art decals, and listen to almost only 60s-70s music. they're very into botany and are facinated with how plants work. they hope one day to be a professional botanist or herbalist. they keep plants all around their home and take good care of them all.
they're all about good vibes and having a good time, often inviting their friends to join them on camping trips and driving them in their rv. they often like to have long deep talks about things, which usually turn people away from them because it can be intimidating, but in reality they just want to understand the people around them.
monroe is incredibly patient and slow-paced, and it takes a lot to get on their bad side.

03 — Background
monroe goes to a pretty adverage highschool and struggles to fit in with other students a lot. due to their social ineptitude and very outdated interests they often find themselves sitting alone. they do have a few close friends they like to keep in touch with, who are all nature geeks and enjoy the outdoors like they do, but they sometimes wish they had other people to talk to, so they can learn about what other people like.
they usually fall asleep in their classes and don't pay much attention to any classes other than science. monroe just struggles to care about a lot of things other than their favorite things and hate feeling forced to work or be at school. Usually their friends are the ones to remind them to pay attention.
monroe is often seen as intimidating, as they're very tall, but anybody whos close to them will tell you monroes a real cool guy and really fun to talk to about stuff. they're pretty much okay with talking to any person, except for bullies, they would not hesitate to step in if they believe somebodies being picked on.
