- an amalgam of mechanical and biological leftovers risen from a perennial horizons scrap heap.
- primarily made out of the pieces of broken android assistants, haywire isn’t exactly sure how they came to be. they have fragmented memories of the lives their body parts previously experienced, but they don’t provide much in the way of answers.
- haywire awoke in a junkyard, and with absolutely nothing to go off of in terms of memory or knowledge, they began wandering the town.
- they have an innate instinct to stay hidden and end up following it most of the time. they aren’t sure what they’re hiding from, but certain areas make their skin crawl.
- they spotted sulla in their travels one day and have been trying to befriend her ever since. something about her draws them towards her, although they can’t put their finger on what. unfortunately, they seem to run away anytime haywire gets close to saying hello, so their mysteries will have to remain unanswered for the time being.
- they are very curious about the world given their limited information on it, so they often people-watch or go out and investigate interesting stores and such themself.
- their voicebox is broken, so they communicate with sign language instead.
design
- they have five arms, three legs, and only one functional eye.
- they have many stray wires hanging from them which may deliver a weak shock if touched.
- their design can be simplified, as long as everything is generally where it should be; they have an empty left arm socket, uneven “ears,” and a backwards left talon.
- they wear different accessories often, enjoying light / pastel aesthetics.
