The 5th high-ranking and newest member of DAYLIGHT, Seventeen is one of their few high-ranking 'field' members - He mostly deals with the kidnapping and murder parts of the work, and sometimes gives his assistance to Sixteen with the technological side of things.
However, he and Thirteen have a rather turbulent relationship that causes them to explode at each other quite often - Leaving Seventeen at an odd position inside DAYLIGHT. Furthermore, he goes to the local college on orders of DAYLIGHT for the sake of gathering information, but sometimes seems more preoccupied with getting his degree than doing any work for DAYLIGHT...

Personality
Seventeen has two different personalities that he uses - One for work, and one for the college he infiltrated.
At work with DAYLIGHT, he is extremely chipper - He is the first to volunteer for any jobs thrown their way, and is usually the one to draw first blood by smashing a baseball bat into someone's head with the same energy as a fan whose favourite band released new music. Arguably, even if his involvement to DAYLIGHT was near unwilling, he is one of the most hard-working members they've had, rising to the highest ranks the fastest out of most (even if he is Thirteen's favourite - That has nothing to do with it! Shh.)
At college, he almost seems like a regular student. He focuses on his homework, doesn't fear to strike a conversation with anyone, and sometimes seems more focused on getting his degree than spreading news of DAYLIGHT's red room. Conversely, at college, he appears a lot more downtrodden - He cries easily, is very insecure, and apologises for every little thing he does. He'd apologise for his existence if he could.
In truth, his college personality is closest to the true personality behind it all. Self-conscious, constantly attempting to alter everything about himself to seem more palatable to others, and constantly apologising for the slightest thing he perceives to be something wrong about himself. Deep within it all, he is far more broken by his involvement with DAYLIGHT and his relationship with Thirteen than he'd ever acknowledge or even realise.

Summary
Unbeknownst to him, he would be inducted into DAYLIGHT, formally taught how to kill people, and set loose. And Finn, now Seventeen, was too desperate to hold onto Ethan's aproval and love to do anything but go along with it. Over time, it became easier to shove off the violence and the guilt off to the him when he was wearing a mask, so that he could still pretend the him without a mask, Finn, was still worthy of life and love and not the violent murdering monster he had truly become. And the relationship between him and Ethan had gone from sweet and loving to manipulation - including Ethan often suggesting that he change things about himself that Ethan didn't like (his eyecolour, his weight, his piercings), and they often explode into fights. And every time Finn gets the idea to leave, Ethan is right back to the adoring man that he used to love, and he once more gets the hope that they'll be fine.
Five years later, DAYLIGHT moves to Clocktown, and Seventeen is told to infiltrate the local college to get free access to information and to spread news of DAYLIGHT's Red Room to anyone who seems interested. And then, suddenly, Finn is almost allowed to be a regular person again - Doing homework, making friends, going to parties. And it's almost enough to convince Finn that, maybe, just maybe, he would almost prefer a life without Thirteen and DAYLIGHT.

Trivia
He and Fourteen are the two members of DAYLIGHT that get along the most out of everyone. They enthuse together over a mutual favourite band.
His first year at college is in an undecided direction. The second year he decides to go for a photography degree - Hey, he had some know-how from DAYLIGHT, anyway...

Deeply desires a normal, domestic life. Would absolutely kill for a normal, loving relationship.
Doesn't have control over... Most things in his life. Finances, decisions, etc. are all handled by Thirteen.
In all actuality, is a poor replacement Loke to Thirteen. This is unbeknownst to Finn himself.

'Ethan'
Once the most charming man Finn knew, even if that wasn't a high standard to achieve. Nowadays, their relationship is strained, with Ethan becoming more and more controlling and Finn slowly realising that maybe relationships aren't meant to feel this awful.
Liv
They met due to Finn begging his best friend to introduce him to 'the pink-haired guy'. Ever since, Liv has been the poster example of what affection is supposed to look like - And though Finn is 'taken', he is growing very attached to Liv...
Kade
Their friendship started off... Not well. From Finn's side, Kade was a potential source of information - From Kade's side, there was suspicion over Finn's potential involvement with DAYLIGHT. And then they found out they had more things in common than they initially would have thought.
