Salt is a chef who was born and raised in the Salt Flats. No, that's not her real name. Yes, she's called that because in culinary school and her time as a chef traveling around she would consistently forget to put salt on her food. It was often enough that they'd call "Salt!" when she came up before they ever tasted it, just to confirm she had actually salted it. The nickname stuck and that's what she goes by. Salt wasn't a natural-born chef but she worked hard and her restaurant is quite popular among locals and tourists to the Salt Flats.

Salt's favorite pasttime beyond cooking is racing her motorcycle across the flats to the ocean. If food is her second love, speed was her first. The freedom of seeing the world racing by you as the wind hits your skin is unlike anything else.
