Nightmares

With dominion over nightmares, Siah has the responsibility of crafting the worlds and inhabitants of bad dreams across the multiverse. He takes pride in his work; he intimately understands fear and discomfort of all kinds, and truly puts his heart into all of it.

Magic

While he has the ability to bestow nightmares on others, Siah's powers are useful in many ways. He can also grant dreamless sleep, distort perceptions of reality, and read the deepest fears of those he encounters.

Claws

Beyond his magic, Siah has useful physical strength. His claws are long and sharp, and his teeth -- should he stoop to using them -- are made for ripping and tearing. If he is forced into a fight, Siah uses no weapons; instead, he fights like a beast.

About

Siah is a standoffish, unsociable Daiten who pours the vast majority of his time into his work. Even before the fall of Heaven, he rarely spent time with Daitens outside of his immediate circle; after the fall, he saw even less point to wasting his time with others. His affection is hard-won; those close to him have earned their place in his heart many times over, and those few get to see a side of Siah that doesn't exist to anybody else.

Siah's purpose is to create nightmares. This is what he was made for, in the early days of Heaven. He worked tirelessly alongside his direct counterpart, a Daiten in charge of crafting sweet and gentle dreams; together, they crafted beautiful and terrifying landscapes for sleeping minds across the multiverse. Satisfied in his purpose, Siah never asked for more. So long as he had his work, it would be enough for him.

After the Fall

Siah was distant from the war with Agma; he watched it from a distance, through the night terrors of others, and never participated himself. The collapse of Heaven took with it all of Siah's close friends: in an instant, everything he had was gone. He lost his home, his purpose, and those few people he loved. Unable to cope with or accept the loss, he swore to find them all again: hope and despair, sin and virtue. And his other half. He would not rest until he knew what had become of them.
