- He has two forms, a more child-like form, and a more dangerous, more powerful angel form.

- He actually, normally holds back most of his power, as to not physically drain himself.
Nick, while seemingly innocent, is a ruthless killer. He is often hypocritical, as despite punishing those for their sins, he himself, has sinned. He basically is a corrupted angel at this point, fooling many into a faked innocence.
Nicholas was once a pure angel, one who his god respected. Having been top of many things, he was considered the perfect little angel. He was used as a angel for war, due to his excellent track but... that is where things went wrong. He developed a behavior of enjoying murder. He later became a assassin in life, against the wishes of his god, this is how he met Cheris. He instantly fell in love with Cheris, being that Cheris was the perfect one for him. Having never been in love before, he became clingy and obsessive. It had never once occurred to him that Cheris never shared these feelings. One day though, Nick was assigned to kill Cheris' older brother, Rasp. Thus the deed was done, but absolutely unbeknownst to him, Cheris saw, and this ruined his perfect image to his own "lover". Of course, after this, it stroke fear into Cheris, and also hate. At this point, Nicholas was deemed corrupted, and dangerous by his guard, as in truth, no one wanted Rasp dead. This is the time Nick developed a true love of killing, and always has said they've sinned, even the most innocent of victims.
While Nick absolutely cares for him, and adores him. Cheris.. does not, hates Nick actually, this being due to Nick having killed Cheris' older brother, in front of him. The chances of the two's friendship forming again is very low.
While the name of Nicholas' god is unknown, what is known is their relationship. It is true that they were proud of Nick and his accomplishments, they would've never wish for Nick to go down the path he did. They considered Nick a corrupted angel at this point out of fear. It's a mystery if this were to ever get better. Nick actually hates them, so that's sad on it's own.
