About
Ryuji Nishimura is a hot-headed idiot that gets himself in a lot of trouble seemingly whenever he can. He's been trouble for almost everyone around him, but he's got a big heart and does whatever he can to help the people he loves. Very loud and a passion for baseball or anything sports related, and equally passionate about making friends (along with enemies).
He's been an orphan for a majority of his life, but still remembers his parents. He's been a trouble maker all the way through his teenage years, a pain in the ass for teachers and legal guardians. He's never had a real sense of family and always tried to find ways to create one for himself.
Ryuji joined up with the Takara family after meeting his future oath brother in the city. He ended up in a scuffle, being beaten nearly half to death by a man smaller and thinner than him. He swore to himself he'd beat him one day and bonded through their quarrels. Eventually, it was just enough for the other man to introduce him to the family. Ryuji didn't need much convincing and swore in.

Personality
Ryuji is a bit of a dunce and very strong-willed, marching to the beat of his own drum. He’s a bit childish and easy to set off, since he’s rather defensive in nature. He’s boisterous and fairly unashamed of it. It leads him to get in a lot of fights, since he can be a little antagonistic if he thinks he’s being attacked.
Still, despite all of that, Ryuji wears his heart on his sleeve and tries to do what’s right in his eyes. Some say he’s too good to be in the yakuza. He’s very loyal to people around him and finds it hard to see anything wrong in them. He often does what they ask of him without question just based on his loyalty.

Appearance
Ryuji is 6’1” with a heavier build and soft, but strong, muscles. His natural hair color is a dark brown, visible by the shaved sides since it’s cut into a faux mohawk. His hair is long where it’s dyed bleach blonde and he keeps it tied back into a puffy ponytail with a red ribbon. His clothes are more reminiscent of highschool rebels than of the yakuza. He wears his overcoat incorrectly and doesn’t tuck in his shirt completely.
He has both ears pierced and wears a gold chain, also wearing black fingerless gloves. His pants are botan pants which he wears long socks under complete with heavy boots and suspenders he lets hang. He has long eyelashes and his eyes are a little more of a lighter brown than his hair is. Ryuji’s cheeks are also constantly tinted red like he has a fever.

Backstory
Ryuji has been an orphan most of his life. He lost his parents to a fire that was found to be arson. He survived it, left with a burn mark on his leg and asthma from the smoke he inhaled. Ryuji was also left with a red ribbon that his mother used to wear. After it was decided what to do with him, he was sent to an orphanage where he was raised up into his teens.
Ryuji never felt like he was really part of a family at the orphanage. He often acted out in his frustration there and during his time at school. In middle school, he was a menace to the student body. He was either never in class or bullying other kids in and outside of school. He had formed a ragtag gang of rebellious kids that he would prowl the city in, getting into fights with people much older than him. He dropped out of school around the age of sixteen, deciding it wasn't worth it for him to stay there.
In the city, where he had taken up residence, he had knocked shoulders with someone his age in the streets and started to antagonize him for it. The next thing he could remember was his face kissing the concrete and not being able to breathe for a good hour. Ryuji was soaked and humiliated. He made it his goal to beat that kid in a fight. He would puff up like a bird just seeing the top of his head in a crowd. It went on like that for months, and he never won a single fight, but it slowly turned into conversations instead of fights. They became friends and was introduced to the family he would swear up to through him.
Present Day
Ryuji spends most of his day running a batting center on his own and running collections for his family. He hasn't moved up the ladder and doesn't desire to, happy with where he is. He lives with the man that introduced him to this life and another man he met not long after he joined. Ryuji finds himself doing most of the housework and making food for them, since the other two can't cook for shit.
