Feeling the pain in Alan and Sarha's hearts, Cresselia gave them a dream in which they lived an alternate childhood, where they had never been separated. The dream became like memories for them, restoring their broken bond.

Sarha is Alan's little sister. Separated after their parents' divorce, he missed her a lot and now feels over protective with her. They're very similar in looks but very different in personality. Though they share a strong determination and a wish to protect their loved ones no matter what.
The Professor took Alan under his wing when he was very young, giving him the father figure he needed. Alan trusts him and even put himself in danger to protect Sycamore's reputation. The professor also gave Alan his first Pokémon and taught him how to care for them.
Sacha helped Alan enjoy Pokémon Battles again, Alan admires his energy a lot and entered the Kalos Tournament to battle him again. Alan was happy to participate in the World Championship as the Kalos' Champion, and despite his defeat against Leon, he couldn't have been more proud of Sacha for winning the tournament. He considers Sacha one of his best friends.
One of Alan's friends that he met in Hoenn during his journey. They looked for Mega Stones together and bonded over their shared interest for those items. They're still very good friends today.
Binka is one of Sarha's friends that Alan met in Alola for summer vacations. Alan admires the Ranger group. He appreciates Binka's patience and caring personality, he thinks she's a very sweet and kind girl and is happy his sister's got such good friends.
Goku is one of Sarha's friends, he met her in Alola when the group reunited for vacations. Alan likes how competitive and adventurous Goku is. He finds her strong and brave and was even impressed by her surfing skills! Alan admires the Ranger group and is very pleased with the great friends his sisters made.
Alan gets along well with Jacky. Having worked as a Professor's aide, Alan enjoys talking with an aspiring professor like him. Jacky's composed attitude is something Alan appreciates.
Armand is an Aura Guardian and also one of Steven's friends. Alan appreciates his calm and more mature personality. Armand, Alan and Steven became great friends during their Alolan vacations with the others. Armand and Alan are also both Coffee Lovers.
Sina and Dexio are also Professor Sycamore's assistants. Alan met them while working for the professor and they became friends.
Mairin is a young girl Alan met during his journey. At first, always afraid to make new friends, Alan rejected her, but with time, he started to see his lost sister in her, and became very protective of Mairin, making it his duty to keep her and her Pokémon safe. When Mairin's Chespin got hurt, Alan did everything in his power to save him.
Sarha and Alan's mother. She owns a little farm in Masara Town, Kanto, with a lot of Pokémon from different Regions. Alan didn't grow up with her, much to his regret.
Alan and Sarha's father. After the divorce, he left for Kiloude City, Kalos, with his son, and never helped when he clearly needed to see his mother and sister again. For that reason, Alan has a lot of resentment against his father.
