Reyer

Reyer is determined to get the nice job as the researcher intern in the intergalactic organisations. In the perfect world he’d be assigned on some kind of exploration and research vessel where he wouldn’t only take care of the crew but also study the newly discovered species. That, he has to admit, is probably just a fantasy, but it helps him study hard and focus as much as possible on his hopefully glorious future career.
He is excited to be able to help the others and even though he loves his home planet he is dying to see more of the world.

The student life agrees with him as long as it’s only about the studying, orher things, not so much. Even though Reyer likes people, he tends to feel a little bit awkward in crowds, which makes it difficult for him to participate in some more fun parts of being a student. Like parties or dating.
Luckily, his more outgoing friends are patient with him, and he’d started to slowly enjoy going out more. It’s fun with friends, he noticed. However, dating is still an odd idea for him, and it makes him nervous and a bit sad to think about it.
Probably because he’s still not entirely ready to admit that he only seems to have any romantic or sexual interest in the other guys.

Reyer is a quiet and shy young man who easily steps aside to give the room more louder and more high-energy people. He's a little bit of a pushover but can stand his ground if he wants to or if it's something he’s passionate about. Being known to fuss over the people he loves like a mother hen, he is kind and caring with the biggest heart. Though, maybe that’s why he is often reluctant to share his opinions or disagree with someone. Others' opinions of him matter him a lot, so he believes it’s better to keep some things to himself.

He also has quite low self-esteem and will take everyone's words at heart - both good and bad. Though being a bit fumbling Reyer means well, and still considers himself as generally happy and easy-going.
