Corvidkit was born to two cats in Shadowclan, Nightgaze, a distant tom who was filled with regret and always on the move and a beautiful molly named Riverthrash who wasn’t harsh but wasn’t fond of his father. He loved his mother dearly but he couldn’t help but feel nagged that he and his siblings never knew who their real father was. Albeit it, maybe it was for the best since their father wasn’t really in their life. He remembered the dark tom slide out of the camp one night and disappear into the wilderness never to be seen. He found out that Tom was his father and the young kit was heart-broken; he never got to spend time with the older tom before his departure. He grew up closer to his brother Floodkit. The two of them were close brothers, and Corvidkit would have given his life for his brother if he had too. But soon something darker began to manifest around the kit. A strange, odd feeling of pure rage towards his mother for keeping the identity of his father, and hatred towards his father who ran away like a coward. Soon those feelings came back to take over the kit, causing him to shift away from his loving family. His grandfather shared the same feelings and took the tom under his wing promising to be better than his father. Corvidkit soon became Corvidpaw and was mentored under a battle-hardened male called Ebonycall. He wasn’t the best in showing approval but he was amazing at battle strategies and fighting. The tom was aggressive, pushy and quite assertive, forcing the tom to work everyday, it started from the crack of dawn till sunset. He barely had time to sleep, especially when his grandfather Pikebite would wake him up roughly and be worked to the bone and would have many sores. He began to become sluggish and his mentor began to slow training, allowing him to rest more. All the training began to make the tom dislike everything, his mentor forcing his ideals into the tom, festering emotions into the tom. He barely had time to make friends, his closest friend Rosepaw tried everything to stay close to the tom but he chased her away, refusing to let anyone enter his heart, afraid that if he showed any emotions. He would lose everyone he cared about and they would leave just like his father left his mother.

The moment he became a warrior. He was happy finally, he didn’t need to train too much at first he was relaxed but seeing his siblings and old friends get praised for being good warriors made him angry, where was his praise for surviving such harsh training sessions, he forced himself to start working more, taking initiation and being first to wake but nothing he did, seemed to get praise from others. Soon the tom was caught in a skirmish, Corvidpool stood in the background, watching, feeling blood drip from maw as the cat who he had pinned tried to escape. He felt the adrenaline from the battle fill every fiber with excitement but he snapped out of his daze as he heard the call to retreat, letting the cat under his claws to escape. He licked his maw, enjoying the taste of blood, his blue eyes glowing in the shadows.. When Eclipsepath became the new deputy, Corvidpool watched her, he knew she was strong and knew he wanted to get her good graces if he wished to become her deputy and maybe even her close friend. He grew to hate and despise the leader, planning on taking him out. The tom had jumped down and shoved the leader in the way of a falling stalactite that killed him almost instantly, due to his dark fur in the cave and the panic of everyone due to the falling debris, no one knew who shoved the leader. He was one of the few who was excited and happy that Eclipsestar claimed the leader spot.
