It’s a little bit of both. Each creature has their own brain, all of the brains must coordinate together to be one, functional being. The Hisser can control what their snakes do but for the most part they act on their own will.

It’s not bothering me at all! It takes about a month for their teeth to grow back after they’ve lost one.
