Profile
Lunardis was a lonely deity taking residence on the moon. He was engaged to the sun goddess Amaterasu. The jealousy of Amaterasu's sister Kun, goddess of the Earth, led her to try and kidnap Lunardis time and time again. She treasured Lunardis for his beautiful flute music that he would play for her sister. Kun was frequently thwarted by the twin guardians Bai Lei and Xuihcoatl. However there was one fateful night of the new moon that Kun managed to kidnap Lunardis.
He managed to struggle from her enough to get away but it resulted in the loss of most his memory and being stranded on Earth. There he was taken in by a kind young man named Setsuna. At first Lunardis was too proud to accept the help from the high school boy. But after the promise of a nice warm bed and after being defeated by his own attempts at surviving he gave in to the offer. Luckily for Luna, Setsuna was a follower of his fiancée (and a shrine keeper).
Bai Lei and Xuihcoatl eventually found their charge after about a month of searching. They were both surprised to find that Lunardis has lost his memories of being the moon deity but at least he remembered them after meeting them.
They came to both deliver a message from Amaterasu and protect him until they were able to help him ascend back to the moon. At first Setsuna was skeptical of all the happenings in his house but during one prayer Amaterasu spoke directly in his head. She asked Setsuna to let Lunardis stay with him, knowing that the poor boy was just about fed up with Luna's attitude. She explained to him that Lunardis had such terrible social skills because he was always lonely on the moon and had few guests to keep him company or to better his skills.
With this knowledge Setsuna took to heart that he would try to help Luna as best he could. Bai Lei and Xuihcoatl delivered the message that in order for Lunardis to ascend again he must learn to be more kind and help others instead of being the shrewd and selfish individual he was. He needed to earn at least 100 followers in order to ascend. This began his journey to earn back his power.
