Sin grew up in a temple far up in the mountains, hidden from the rest of the world, however he was not raised by his parents. Fearful, poor, and seduced by greed-- his parents decided to sell their only son to a mysterious man named Aobōzu, whom had seen oppertunities in the young boys ability to shapeshift. Perhaps unknowning, or unwilling, his parents refused to recognize the pain Sin would suffer for the rest of his existence.
Sin can disguise himself as others, yet only for short moments. Holding the transformation is possible, but at a high stake-- For only at the cost of their life may the transformation permanently set. As he developed and grew, he quickly became popular amongst the higher, solemn ranks who wished others silently assasinated. His second form, Ryūjin, the soul of an ancient dragon, is his most powerful. Almost demonic like, it sucks the energy out of his body when used. If he lingers too long he will eventually lose control of himself and Ryūjin takes over his body. Everytime this power was unleashed, it grew stronger. Soon it became harder to both control and return to himself. Sin would go into a state of mind not capable of anything but desctruction until the dragon had his host completely worn out. Aobōzu, afraid to lose his precious experiment, created a mask to help detain the dragon within. Sin now wears his mask at all times (unless eating) to help keep his inner beast under control.

At a young age Sin undervent unforgiving torture by the elders who bought him. They raised him to know true pain and suffering. This was all preperation for the experiment to come, carefully planned by a self-proclaimed (madman) priest named Aobōzu, whos only goal was to create the ultimate slave. His way of torture remain unspeakable, and after years of suffering the embodiment of Ryūjin, a powerful dragon soul, was completed.

He was given his current name by his "master" and have been left with zero memories of his old name/life. He was to became a "sinner" and was such given a fitting name.

Liking it or not, Sin is connected with Aobōzu, the self-proclaimed priest, who has him under his control. The only reason Sin remains at his side is because the Aobōzu is the only one who's able to "charge", if you will, the mask that prevent Ryūjin to completely take over the mind of his host.

Often, Sin hears the low growling voice of Ryūjin inside of his head. Images of the ground soiled with blood and dead bodies scattered about will also flash before his eyes. Faint memories of what the beast have done weighs heavily upon him. Cries from the suffering, plees from the dying, the rumbling sound of the dragons chuckle-- it all becomes too much sometimes.
