Herald is a regal child. Having learned the best from both of his dads, Herald truly strives to take the best of both of them in order to one day be a truly great ruler. He dreams of being a warrior king, using his skills mainly for exhibition matches in tournaments while ruling over a peaceful kingdom. Most think that Herald is a little too serious for a child, but not everyone sees him in his private moments, where he does like to play and be a little hellion. He loves weaponry and history, and especially the history of weapons, and will spend hours reading until dragged away for other lessons or to go outside and get some fresh air.

Gideon - Dad
Prince Gideon is Herald's royal dad. He's learned a lot from the now settled down Gideon. Herald hangs onto every one of Gideon's words, whether they are lessons about being a good prince, or stories from Gideon and Sterling's adventurers before they returned to the kingdom. Even though Herald is quite young, his dads both put a lot of trust in him and give him a lot of freedom, but also a lot of responsibility. Herald is always doing his best to impress both of his dads, though getting lectures from Gideon when he is particularly naughty is particularly hard on Herald, he can't help but be a little naughty sometimes. The two have a very strong relationship, and Herald knows that even if his dad is tough on him sometimes, deep down he's a big softie and the punishments are never too severe, even when it comes to him playing with weapons he's not supposed to.

Sterling - Dad
Sterling is Herald's Knight dad. Herald looks up to Sterling a lot, and is always impressed by his fighting and his blacksmithing skills. Herald is still too young to do any more active blacksmithing, but he often spends the entire day with Sterling at the forge, taking in all he can with the art of blacksmithing and begging to try all the weapons. Sterling is also Herald's teacher in the art of fighting, and he always looks forward to his lessons. Herald's "fighting style" can be a little too enthusiastic, but Sterling has done a very good job in teaching him to be a patient and skilled fighter. Herald takes these lessons very seriously, and is glad to have such a great teacher as his dad. He loves Sterling very dearly, the Knight is basically his hero. Sterling's hard working attitude has really helped to round out Herald's education and growing up.
