Profile
Gideon has big ambitions, he was a sheltered prince who was always inspired by heroic tales. He read tons of these stories while he grew up and always dreamed of going on adventures on his own. He didn't get to see much of the world outside the castle where he lived, and his king and queen parents were very strict with him since he was the heir to the throne. One day however, he fled from the castle, intent on having his own adventures. Unsurprisingly, he was very ill-equipped with traveling and adventuring, and wound up getting in trouble. Gideon is sweet and brave, but his spoiled upbringing shows, and he's quite naïve. He always puts his best effort forth, even in impossible situations. When he returned back home, he had gained a lot of experience and a new love in the form of a stalwart knight.

Luckily for Gideon, Sterling was sent to find him when he ran off. Sterling is competent and protective, and though they tend to butt heads sometimes in regards to Gideon's stubbornness, but Sterling has stuck by Gideon's side and saved his life more than once. When they returned to the kingdom, Gideon was sure to give him what he was due. Not only does Sterling have a cushy position as Prince Gideon's personal guard, he is also court blacksmith, and the Prince Consort, giving him a voice in the affairs of the kingdom. Gideon loves Sterling dearly, and is eternally grateful for his help, guidance, and love.
