Personality

Very curious and ready for all experiences, Rosaire nonetheless remains a quality tsundere who will claim to hate the whole world, including you and be self-sufficient all alone. Always on the lookout for bad moves, he likes to use his entourage for mischievous experiments, very often at their expense, and does not help many people in return. He is not inherently mean, but likes to appear so, probably more to be quiet on his side and hide any potential weakness. He likes to be nicely dressed, is the type to moan at the slightest stain of mud on his heeled shoes and "not to move his lazy ass when you need him" (according to his companions).

Story 1

Rosaire was born in the region of Fontaine, the youngest of a prestigious family in the capital. Particularly involved in the justice of the land, the Saint-Ange's family had been blessed by the Archon Hydro for generations, and every child of the mainline was accustomed to receiving a Hydro vision. Prudence, the eldest, received his at the traditional age of 11, and was therefore a full member of the esteemed family. It was always an important event within the lineage, we then became officially recognized and we could then claim the succession. Rosaire esteemed his older brother very much, and he was both his role model and his best friend, so finding one without the other seemed impossible. When Prudence received his vision, Rosaire was eager to join him and be a full part of the family.

Story 2

However, after turning 11, Rosaire never was blessed by a vision. While the matter gradually worried the family, they initially thought that maybe a lag could happen. The next year, still nothing, and his own family began to turn their backs on him. He had become the subject of all the discord, why had the Archon decided not to give him a Vision? Was he an anomaly, an adulterous child, what had they done to Archon to deserve this? But rather than thinking about the reasons, it was easier to lay the blame on Rosaire, who was accused of dishonoring the family, and being responsible for that.

Story 3

There was only Prudence that did not to turn his back on him, he remained a protective and loving big brother, and when he intervened, no one generally dared to reply. Rosaire on the other hand, to compensate for his lack of elemental affinity, struggled to master what most resembled it, alchemy. Despite his young age, his determination was sufficient to master and achieve feats in the matter - nothing enough, however, to impress a Saint-Ange. But Prudence continued to encourage him, and he didn't give up.

Story 4

Years passed, and Rosaire realized that he would never have a Vision. Being the black sheep of the family hardly bothered him anymore, insults and derogatory remarks crept over him, and only Prudence and alchemy mattered to him. His life only revolved around these two poles and if he was not working he would help his brother in whatever he could do. It was mutual, and often Prudence would often go with his little brother in search of the alchemical ingredients he needed. It was not without risk, but nothing insurmountable for a vision bearer. One day, however, on an escapade in a cave, far from the usual monsters, it was an Abyss Herald they encountered.

Vision

An Hydro catalyst had little effect against an enemy of this specific type, and Prudence knew it well, he ordered his brother to flee while he dealt with the Herald. Rosaire did not dispute, he himself had no way of facing it and was used to his brother coming back victorious. However, upon arriving at the entrance to the cave and not seeing Prudence return, the apprentice alchemist decided to return. The Herald was gone, and there was no trace of his brother, except his catalyst fallen to the ground, and his Vision gleaming faintly before extinguishing itself. He knew little about the Abyss - no one knows much about it - but refused to think that he might have died facing the Herald, he assumed he might have been taken to the Abyss by the latter. It seemed inconceivable to him to return without proof in front of his parents. Wanting to recover the effects of his brother, some Abyss mages appeared behind his back. The inert Vision he had picked up from the ground emitted a bright light and the mages fell stunned in place. The divine eye had rekindled, and the hydro vision had given way to Baal's blessing.

Story 5

Lost and devastated by the loss of his brother, Rosaire had no choice but to seek help from his family. However, seeing him return alone with an Electro vision and Prudence's catalyst, the mortified parents thought he had in revenge killed his older brother to steal his vision. Rosaire's explanations did nothing, and since Justice was Fontaine's ideology, he had no choice but to flee before any unjust sentence. His journey took him to Mondstadt, since "Liberty" seemed to be what sounded best to his ears at the time. He managed to get accepted as an apprentice alchemist, and himself became an alchemist for the Knights of Favonius a few years later. His ultimate goal, however, will not have changed after these years, if he hides his research, he is particularly interested in the Abyss, and hates everything connected with it. He wants to unlock his secrets, and ultimately shed light on the disappearance of his beloved brother.

Trivia

  • Skill (Faraday Cage): Generates a cage that blocks damage and elemental reactions. Applies the Electro element and produces an elemental reaction to the exterior if touched by a Hydro, Pyro or Cryo element. The cage continues after a change of character.
  • Burst (Lightning Rod): Summons an area of thunderstorm. Enemies hit by lightning are dealt Electro damage, allies hit are healed for 10% of their health. At the end of the burst, the zone releases a shock wave in its center and those present inside are inflicted with the effects described above.
  • He hates water and rain, throwing him in a river is the worst offense you could do to him.

Mayron

The naive archer of the team, if not completely silly sometimes, Rosaire wonders how it is possible to reach such a point of stupidity. Seeing him unconsciously flirting with Marcutio makes him want to throw up, he finds them waaay too . Like the others, he loves her very much and is an interesting explosion partner - although it often ends badly. He loves telling him stupid stories and seeing how long he'll believe them.

Marcutio

A quintessential happy idiot, Rosaire doesn't know if he should find him cute to frolic around with Mayron or if he should go and throw up. He's his favorite test subject after the archer, because they believed anything he can tell them without ever questioning his word, and the outcomes are always very ... instructive in a way. Marcutio is nevertheless a friend whom he values a lot, his kindness is matched only by his silliness, but he forgives him well (especially because without him they would be in a bad state all the time and well... they sometimes share more intimacy). His dedication is beyond him, but it takes everything to make a world.

Okazaki

Daddyzaki, the pillar, the rock of the team. It is the least "funny", but undoubtedly the less stupid of the three, and especially the most responsible, he endures all their crap combined without saying anything. He is always very attentive to the needs of the group, and he has all his respect for that (by that he means that he has a reduced percentage of being part of his experiences). He often seems lost in thought, and he hopes that in time that melancholy air will go away on its own.
