Enigma always claimed she was made for the stage light. However, in her giant family, with 11 siblings, she never had a chance to shine. On top of that, the attention of her parents always had to be divided among 12 children and most of it went to her younger siblings, especially Mimi, who's only 5 years old. As Enigma was the kind of kid to talk back to her parents, she fell on the lower rank, when it came to favoritism. It seemed like all her siblings but her had something special to offer: Myst got married into royalty, Keya got her Enchantix at only 15 years old, Nebula was extremely smart, Crux found a job as royal guard, Riddle made a scientific discovery and the little ones already got extra attention, because that's what usually happens to younger siblings.
Because of that, Enigma became that kind of person that craves attention and will do whatever it takes to get it. Outside of her house, that is. In school, she always found herself involved in drama and would even low-key bully others to assert her dominance. It came to a point her moms were scared she'd become a witch, for most of her deeds were not good ones. She had her wake-up call, however, when it turned out a girl in her class went through the effort of changing schools, largely due to Engima's attitude towards her. Prior to that, she didn't realize how badly her actions affected others and she did her very best to change for the better.
Still being a bit of attention-seeker, she put all of her energy and rage into acting, to the point she got casted for gigs than just local theater productions. Although not being a superstar, Enigma is currently fairly well-known and gets recognized a lot on the streets. After one of her past victims came forward with allegations of her bullying behaviour, Enigma decided to take a step back from the spotlights. It was covered in many tabloids, but Enigma denied all of it, and most people didn't believe the girl anyway, giving Enigma the benefit of the doubt. Her moms decided to let her enroll in Alfea, because they felt an education would positively influence her behavior and it'd give her a break from the stardom.
Enigma, bitter that this person had put her career at and that she had to go to a boarding school, slightly fell back into her old antics of being rather rude. Still, Enigma is trying to improve herself. But it's hard.
Even though she is pretty snarky, she has some good sides. She is very strong-headed and if she likes you, she will probably defend you as if her life depends on it. After becoming good friends with Vira, she actually often lurks on her streams, to attack ppl who post hate comments.

Charmix obtained by apologizing to her past bully victim, who was the one coming forward with the allegations.
Enchantix obtained by after an argument with one of her moms she ran outside. However, Luminous is known for having quite a few monsters scavenging the caves. People tend to travel in groups, to make sure they're safe. Her mom regretted yelling at her daughter immediately and ran after her. She encountered one of the most dangerous monsters, a mirror serpent, and failed to defend herself. Enigma recognized her screams and rushed in to help. Eventually, she managed to win the fight against the snake, however, she got bitten. The venom slowly turns you into a crystal statue. If it weren't for her enchantix, that would've been her fate.
tl;dr Enigma got bitten by a dangerous snake whilst defending her mom.
Story
Planet: Luminous (ˈluːmɪnəs)
Luminous is a planet near Solaria, where it's always night. The environments are lit by bio-luminescent creatures and plants. About 80% of Luminous' population lives underground, in crystal caves, as the gem-like stones omit light as well. Most of the fairies that originate from her home-planet, have powers related to light or darkness.
Luminous is also home to one of the 12 primal creatures (among which Bloom's Great Dragon reigns supreme), namely the Crystal Serpent. She's an extremely powerful creature, said to be dormant in Luminous' deepest caves.
The Crystal Serpent spawns a lot of lesser snake-like creatures known as Mirror Snakes. They're highly dangerous and because their venom can turn people into crystals. One can only wonder how many of Luminous' crystals used to be actual citizens once.

- Mistaken for Gay: Semi-subverted. Enigma and Vira are often mistaken as a couple. They do are both gay, just not dating eachother.
- Nice Mean And In Between: With her team-members, technically, both Neria and Enigma could apply as mean (hence why they butt heads), with Gala as the nice one and Joanne in between.
- Power Dyes Your Hair: Her prismatic powers are the reason behind her unique haircolor.
- We used to be friends: Enigma and Lelia used to be best friends as kids, as Enigma's sister is Lelia's step-mom. However, when they got older Enigma met Medora, who hates Lelia very much. When explaining why Enigma actually sided with Medora to most people's surprise. Lelia still hopes they can mend their relationship, on the condition Enigma breaks contact with Medora.
- School Forced Us Together: Enigma was put into a team with Gala, her ex-bully victim that exposed her at that, and said victim's angry girlfriend. It forced them to work things out.

- Some of her spells, are direct quotes from Lady Gaga's song Enigma.
- The character itself was inspired by it. The song is about the pressure of being famous.
- Just like Vira, she has 2 moms.
- With 11 siblings, Enigma has the biggest known family.
- There's a giant agegap between Enigma and her sister Myst, who also happens to be Lelia's stepmom.
- Enigma is whatever you'd call the opposite of a sweet tooth. She really dislikes anything that is too sweet: Candy, chocolate, soda, even fruit.
- On the other hand, she actually loves sour things.
- Enigma has had never had a serious relationship in her life and isn't looking for one either.
- Aside from her relationship with Lelia being a bit awkward because Lelia is basically her step-niece, they aren't on amazing terms because Enigma is easily annoyed by people that sugarcoat things.
- She's a sore loser and super competitive. So far she declined any over to play games with Vira, because she knows she'd be beaten and she doesn't want Vira to face the concequences.
- Enigma's favorite color is orange.
- Despite not being physically strong, she's my Winx OC that's probably most likely to break someone's nose by punching them.
- In fact she has anger issues and used to get in a lot of fights, especially as a child.

Relationships:
Vira: Despite being best friends now, the two actually got off on the wrong foot. Being both the dominant type, they used to bicker a lot and disagree on the smallest things. Vira is a perfectionist whereas Enigma is overly sensitive to criticism, due to the fact she feels like her parents never approved of her. Every little remark from Vira's side therefore aggravated Enigma much more than it should've. On the other side, Vira loves debating things and saw her criticism as just a way of discussing matters.
Eventually, Enigma blew up, saying that whatever she did, it would never be good enough for Vira. This greatly confused the latter, who said she was good enough, which made Enigma cry for one of the only times in her life because it was something she wanted to hear for so long.
After that, they grew much closer and discovered they actually had a lot in common.
Astra: Although Astra is very easy-going, Enigma is one of the only people she really doesn't like. This is not only because their personalities clash, but also because Enigma used to pick on on Astra's cousin, Gala. Even though she apologized and Gala and her are on decent terms, it seems like Astra isn't forgiving her any time soon. Because of this, Astra mockingly calls her 'Diva' all the time. They both get along with Vira very well, who tends to serve as a mediator between the two.
Prima: Although Prima is a good friend of Gala, she gets along fairly well with Enigma, even though Astra dislikes Enigma and Gala used to be picked upon by the latter. However, as they were roommates, they were kind of forced to. Prima is actually one of the few fairies, that is on decent terms with Enigma's friend group (the other ones being fairies like Raena, Yule and Neria). As Prima is very knowledgeable about everyone and Medora adores gossip, she got quickly accepted in the group. The issue is that Prima is quite naive and doesn't realize sharing other's secrets with them, especially, once again, Medora, is very harmful.
Gala: Gala is on better terms with Enigma as she used to be, given the fact the latter used to pick on her, a lot. They used to be friends, as Gala was a fan of her and the first to approach Enigma when she enrolled in Alfea. Once she started hanging out with Raena and Medora, however, her attitude towards Gala took a turn for the worse and she started treating her very badly. By now, Enigma has apologized and Gala has forgiven her. However she's still very intimidated by her presence.
Neria: Neria and Enigma don't get along very well. After Neria takes a liking to Gala, she holds a grudge for picking on the latter. However, as Neria is a fairy with dark powers, she is on good terms with Enigma's friends and room mates: Chira, Medora and Raena (who form the dark fairy group CHI•ME•RA). When she enrolled in Alfea, they were the first one to welcome her, as she was shunned away by most.
Raena:
Medora: Initially Medora and Enigma did not get along, as the latter was acquainted with Lelia, whom Medora loathed. However, after Medora explained why their relationship was that strained, to her great surprise, Enigma sided with her and not her... 'step-niece'. They have a lot in common and both adore gossiping. At the moment, Medora considers Enigma to be her best friend, together with Raena.
Lelia: Lelia is the daughter of Enigma's older sister Myst. When they were children, they played a lot, to the point they were considered best friends. Their friendship took a turn for the worse, however, when Raena started hanging out with Medora, Lelia's twin-sister. Their parents divorced once it turned out their mother only married their dad, because he was a king and she wanted to take over the planet. Their mom got banished and Medora staid with her, whereas Lelia lived with her dad. Because of this, Medora hold a big grudge against the latter, to the point she considers her her nemesis. Once Enigma learned about this, she sided with Medora and it severly damaged her relationship with Lelia.
Vesna: Vesna is polite and treats everyone about the same. Enigma doesn't dislike her, but she doesn't like her either. They're on these neutral middle-ground, where both of them have respect for one another. However, as Vesna also is on good terms with Lelia (the princess of her planet), she is cautious around her.
