Profile
A dragon from the northern part of the reformed supercontinent, Neo-Pangaea. Mira is essentially a mythical creature. Is she even real??
Most details about them + the life they lead are secrets. They’re very fond of secrets, and very good at keeping them.
Her friends somehow make room in their hearts for her, despite her mere existence being a red flag. Probably because she’s actually good at dealing with her problems.
The thing she values most is control. If she’s ever not in control, things aren’t going well for her.

Quirks & Habits
Their tail is really heavy, so it’s usually left to drag through the dirt (unlike Talia and Fuyumi, who carry their tails up in the air). She’s practically always smirking, for no apparent reason.
Communication
Since she can basically read people’s minds, it’s very easy for her to get on people’s good sides. Or at the very least, say the things they want to hear. They’re very sarcastic though, so they often take advantage of that ability to say the exact opposite of what people want to hear… In general, she’s good at communicating concrete ideas, bad at sharing abstract thoughts.
Showing Affection
Showing (and receiving) affection is one of the few things that makes her super embarrassed. She only compliments people under her breath and keeps all (affectionate) physical contact to just a pat on the shoulder. Hanging around someone like Fuyumi, who’s very affectionate, always leaves her in shambles.

- Actually a great dancer! Her tail gets in the way sometimes, but she’s found styles that let her work around it.
Despite her aloof persona, she’s very attuned to people’s emotions (and not only because of her Truesight). Helping people out brings her fulfillment, but sometimes folks just need someone to listen, not to fix their life.
In reality she’s helping herself more than anyone. Some sort of self-imposed repentance.
She loves gold accents and nautical themes (in case the anchor earring and trident tattoo didn’t make it obvious). They love loose and breezy clothing, basically anything that ripples in the wind. “It adds to the drama,” they say.

Mira is certainly tough, but her moveset mostly revolves around buffing her allies and debuffing her enemies (it’s more magic-based than support-based though, evidently). She’s the slowest member of the team, and if she doesn’t start out with the advantage she’s practically already lost. Good thing she has the advantage in most situations.

Abilities
Most dragons have a full feral form and an alternate humanoid form, but she only has the former. In exchange for that though, she is able to shift between the forms at will, something that not many other dragons can do. Her feral form is small but strong, and she can breathe underwater in that state. Her mental state remains mostly unchanged, and she can think clearly. Something that, again, most other dragons can’t do.
Like most Northern dragons, she was born with this transformation ability. She can only completely keep her sanity in feral form because of personal training though.

Abilities
Every Northern dragon has their own “Truesight,” and though it differs from person to person, each one generally affects their perception somehow (hence the ‘sight’ part). Mira’s Truesight gives her a sort of psychic ability; it ties people to her with a special sort of link. Once she’s touched someone, she can choose to ‘link’ herself to that person, thus granting her access to their location and simpler thoughts until the link is severed. The link’s thoughts are translated into something that Mira can understand (since no 2 people think exactly the same way). They don’t often reveal its full power, if anyone asks she says it’s a sort of ‘tracking device.’ She hates when people call it “mind-reading,” although it really seems like that’s what it is sometimes.
They were born with it, but they put in a lot of effort to be able to completely control it. Especially interpreting people’s feelings—that did not come naturally at all.

The Past: First Encounter and Impressions
Mira won a special backstage ticket to a Whitebird show from some raffle, and decided to go. She met Fuyumi there, and against all odds they hit it off really well! They became fast friends. Mira felt obligated to explain her intrusive Truesight to Fuyumi, and did so apprehensively. For whatever reason though, Fuyumi didn’t seem to care.
They might have dated at one point. If they did, it’s far behind them now.
The Present: Attitudes and Dynamic
Since they share a love of music, they like to meet up and play together sometimes. Their instrument choices don’t always blend well, but they have fun at least.
Fuyumi is one of the few people Mira genuinely cares for. They spend so much time together, Mira can pick up on how she’s feeling even without her Truesight.
The Future: Hopes
She doesn’t want her friendship with Fuyumi to be a competition with Talia. Talia likes to get pissy about who’s better friends with whom, and Mira wants to alleviate that.
While they’re not looking to join Whitebird or anything, Mira wants to make a real song with Fuyumi, just for fun.

The Past: First Encounter and Impressions
Mira met Talia while shopping for groceries, and some strange circumstances led them to talk to each other. They liked each other enough that they decided to meet up and hang out at a later time (probably at a Whitebird concert, since Mira at this point was a big fan). Their friendship was going pretty well, up until the point where Mira explained her almost-psychic Truesight to Talia. That opened a rift between them, since Talia hated the idea of “mind-reading” even though that’s not what it is.
Possibly against Talia’s wishes, Mira continued to use her Truesight to become better friends with Talia in an attempt to close that rift. It sort of worked, actually…
The Present: Attitudes and Dynamic
She loves to tease Talia, much to her friend’s chagrin. She knows Talia doesn’t trust her, and it makes her curious—”if she hates me so much, why does she keep coming back?” Mira isn’t afraid to bring this up to Talia’s face, only to get a mumbled reply of “keep your friends close and your enemies closer, also shut up.” It’s so entertaining.
The Future: Hopes
No point in lying. Mira wants to be better friends with Talia, absolutely. She puts up this aloof, snarky facade, but she longs for the day when she can drop the act and just get real with Talia. It’s been a long time coming, really.
