Lazarus is infamously called 'Captain Lazy' by his students but he doesn't hate it because he knows it's true to a point.

It's just that he doesn't look great during meetings when a student comes by and calls him that. He does need to keep a good reputation in front of his higher ups.

Lazarus is a captain of short stature (compared to the captains anyways). His fur is primarily white with pink and purple markings along the dorsal parts. He is a caracal mix which is only seen through his long tufted ears. His tail is middle-lengthed and feathered outwards; it is often seen draping over itself when held high.

His eyes, though usually covered by his gradient hair, are narrowed and black with long eyelashes. When in uniform, his awfully messy hair is quickly tied up as a ponytail and Lazarus' eyes can be fully seen — though the bangs, that is. At full length, his hair reaches to the middle of his back.

Outside of work, Lazarus can be seen in various turtlenecks and sweatpants. Sometimes in trenchcoats in colder seasons. Sometimes with fluffy slippers on.

Lazarus in combat is like a fragile glass cannon. Physically, he is on the weaker side and is likely to lose an arm-wrestling match against his fellow captains and soldiers.

The user can sword-fight with little or no effort, deliver skillful strikes to weak points with great precision, and cut only and exactly what they want.

Abilities

Lazarus' Flammenschwert (flame-bladed sword) has a characteristically undulating style of blade; having this wave-like structure to resemble a fire. A unique aspect about Lazarus' weapon is that it can set itself on pink-hued fire.

When he has enough concentration, Lazarus can amplify the sword to an extraordinary size and often uses to 'pin' down larger monsters. Following this, he can force his weapon to fly in any direction he chooses; this is extremely helpful when he cannot get any closer to the monsters without causing him and his team harm.

If in a dire situation, Lazarus can create weaker versions of his swords via magic to use or throw. They cannot catch on fire and typically cast less then half the damange it usually is (if the normal sword does 100dp, then these does 10dp). Ineffective but a good distraction.

It is a bright pink colour which leaves a painful burning pain forever if not lifted by himself. This is not limited to monsters.

You can tell he is near his limit when there is smoke emitting out of his mouth, or when he is losing consciousness. Extreme overuse leads to hyperthermia, self burns, or unpredictable spasms of flames.

Additionally, any cold environment greatly hinders his magic, especially if rain is involved. Rain easily extinguishes his fire and Lazarus already has a weak immune system, so he struggles to regulate his body temperature in Winter.
