Makani Almos lives to be free. Disowned at a young age, he only had his childhood friend to lean on. But that was his preference. He didn't need other people, just the one girl by his side; the one who had been there all along.

As a result of this, his social awareness was dulled to a blunt edge. He can be careless with his words, especially if he doesn't know you. That is, if he's by himself. With his other half behind him, he is quite cheery and more careful with his words. He can see himself in others and will relax his guard around like-minded individuals. He has big dreams and aspirations. He loves the sky, and with it, severe weather.

Nothing gets him more excited than a storm front rolling through. In a way, he envies storms, simply from the freedom they have. He doesn't hate his life, only the circumstances that have been forced on him as a result of it. While seemingly a selfish desire, it all actuality, his desire for freedom is for his dear childhood friend, whom he cherishes above all else.

He sets goals and with pursue them to completion, no matter how long they take.
