Ren tries to be level-headed and subdued most of the time, but like everyone he gets jealous and irritable after a while. This is mostly due to his introversion. After long shifts, he can't keep up the fake smile any longer because he's so easily worn out by people. He's good at putting on a facade to be professional though. 

He loves to make small talk with his guests at the bar. He loves to hear gossip and listen in. He's chatty but quiet. He puts the focus more on the customer than himself. He hates being put on the spot. He only really likes attention when preforming music. He's very passionate about his music. He's not often great at expressing himself, so he uses his harmonic to express for him.

He loves to admire beautiful or underappreciated things. 

He looks after the bar very attentively. He takes care of them like the bar is his baby, and he'll intervene in a bar fight when necessary. 

History

Ren was born to an Irish father and a Korean mother in Ireland 1942. His parents had a bit of a rocky relationship for many reasons: his father drank, his mother was not well accepted in their small town, and eventually his father cheated on his mother, etc. 

The two got divorced, and Ren was supposed to live with his mother fulltime, and she even had him take her maiden name. She was a bit overbearing. Despite all that his father had done, Ren missed him (he got to visit him occasionally). He always looked up to his father. And now he was lonely and had no father figure to look up to.  Until one day, he ran into an old family friend, George, who was playing harmonica at a local pub. They became good friends, and George taught him how to drink , defend himself, and play the harmonica. Ren absolutely fell in love with the instrument. 

Once he got out of school, he immediately joined the navy. He wanted to get out the life he was in. But he hated it even more. He tried to get out as fast as he could but had to finish at least a year there. He moved to London as soon as he got out and was down on his luck. He started off as a stripper to make a few bucks and worked in a drag club. He later was able to secure a position behind the bar, where he was more comfortable. But he couldn't play his music there. Now he works two bartending gigs. One at the drag club and one at a blues bar where he is allowed to preform during his breaks.
