Parks

parks is an intimidating guy. he tends to be a bit standoffish; he doesn't like many people he meets. he's kind of... picky about the type of people he likes and he's very black-and-white in his opinions. he's polite, but very aloof. the people he Does like, though, he would do anything for. he needs to feel Needed and he likes to take care of people. he's the type of guy who's a good shoulder to cry on and is very reliable. he has a great heart, despite being a bit jaded. he gets pretty embarrassed and defensive if someone like... brings that up, though. a bit of a tsundere, to be honest. but at his core, he likes to have a fun time and goof around with the people he likes. he's quick witted and has a dry, snarky sense of humor. he takes himself seriously a lot of the time, but he does like to laugh and have fun.

parks works for the government hunting down dangerous creatures or other things that need to be kept a secret (think the x-files). it's a lonely, thankless job, but someone has to do it! he owns a black SUV and drives all over the country wherever his services are most needed at the time. he got recruited for the hunting job out of high school; he was big into sports and easily was the best in the school athletically. while he could've gone pro, instead a man from the government came to him with a pitch. come train and work for them, and they'd pay him a guaranteed salary right from the beginning. his dad has always been very sickly, and their medical bills had been piling up for years. so parks took the job and signed his life away. it seemed great at first but he's getting... a bit tired of it? it's hard work and he doesn't necessarily... like the more violent parts of it at times.
