Personality:

Liam, despite being far younger than anyone else on the crew, tends to have a fairly good grasp of what’s going on. No matter how much the adults try to keep him in the dark to protect him, he’s intelligent and curious and is usually able to figure it out anyway. He basically considers himself a part of the crew just like the grown-ups, often starting conversations with some of the other crewmembers himself or offering to help people out with tasks since he doesn’t have any of his own. Following the death of his father, he becomes more anxious and withdrawn, looking at things with an uncomfortable mix of childlike reasoning and adult seriousness. He’s not immune to the weight of the situation, and it often shows. But through the support of some of the other crewmembers who take him in, he’s able to process his emotions and find a little stability in the chaos.
