Born in Japan as Kano Hokama, he never knew his mother, as she died while giving birth to him and his twin sister. Despite this, their father raised them well, giving them all the love and attention they needed.

He grew up very close to his sister, Kiyoko, almost spending all of his time with her. Even with different hobbies, he loved to spend time with her, considering her his best friend. Kano did well in school, but never had much interest in it. Kano took the path of theater. Having a flair for the dramatic, around the age of 15 years old, Kano introduced his sister to an upcoming contest of modeling, which they won very easily. They caught the eyes of a modeling agency, and with a short discussion about it, they happily signed a contract. Kano and Kiyoko did some little posing, minor commercials and advertising.

As they were 17 years old, they were watching TV and fell on a modeling commercial in America. It peaked their interest, and they began researching for it. All the flashy models of America on TV and the big screens left Kano wanting more, and asked Kiyoko about sending a resume to a modeling agency in America. While a little nervous about it, they followed the plan, and hit a major bullseye. Preparing for their next big step, they learned basic english together, packed their stuff, bid their father goodbye and moved away. Now in America, their modeling skyrocketed. They became famously very quickly, making it to the cover of Vogue Magazine. Deciding to change their names, Kano Hokama became Elias King, twin brother of Madison King. He now lives a good life in America with his sister, loving being famous.

Elias is a snarky, unusual cat. Outwardly, he has an unfocused, aloof personality and always has a smile on his face. Because he teases almost everyone, he's often considered to be a flirt- but when it counts, he's worth relying on. His actual personality, which he hides the majority of the time, is quite subdued and mature. Elias understands a lot more than it seems, and he is more mature than he lets it shows; this is mostly due to the fact that he has a positive outlook on life, going with the flow and never really focusing on the negative. Elias is highly protective of his sister; while she finds herself often conflicted about the famous attention, Kano absolutely loves it, but will shield his sister from it if she is uncomfortable. It shows that despite how he shows himself to be, he will never stop caring about people; this makes him quite a friendly person, but he will also have trouble truly trusting someone due to his famous state.
