Born and raised in a cult dedicated to worshiping gods of the flesh, Francis has led the least typical childhood imaginable. Luckily, he turned out… well. Not fine. Now that he is out in the world on his own as a kind of religious missionary, his social and emotional deficiencies are put into contrast with the rest of society. His mannerisms are sinister, despite his best efforts to the contrary.

He finds help in the form of an old friend who is much more adjusted than he is, and who is more than willing to take on a repair project as dire as Francis. His bad influences may be taking more of a toll on the people around him than they are willing to admit.
