Personality: Uptight and hot headed, Everett takes great pride in his work. Though he usually keeps to himself it is not uncommon to hear snappy if not rude comments muttered under his breath. He is poor at most social interactions...usually either coming off as awkward or rude depending on the subject and is easily flustered. He can be a bit too forward, however, unfortunately turning people off of his company because of it. He doesn't enjoy this aspect of himself...as many times he is looking for bonds to connect with others.
Though his formal nature may say otherwise, Everett is actually quite bold when it comes to his studies as well as combat. He carries himself with confidence and pride while still having a kind side to him, though it takes some work to pull it out. He is proud of his species’ accomplishments, but this usually conflicts with his since of morals the more he studies other cultures.

History: As with all Starshooters, Everett was enlisted in military service at the age of 16. Thanks to not only his skill with his preferred weapon, but his intelligence he was able to move through the ranks to First Lieutenant. From there his focuses were turned from hunting other Stardragons to studying them by becoming one of the leading social anthropologists of the Starshooters funded by the military. Though this seems like a change of pace, he was only permitted to do so by presenting it as an opportunity to use the knowledge of cultures to an advantage when hunting or creating trade deals with certain groups. Even so there are still those who ridicule his studies, saying it opens the door to Starshooters loosing their only source of magic…though some of the younger generation or the more religious actually praise his work, believing reconnecting with the other Stardragons will return blessings they had long lost. Everett himself feels torn about his work in relation to his pride of being a Starshooter.
He publishes all his studies...once they are looked over by the higher ups of course. As much he dislikes having the government force his studies to be used negitivly he has convinced himself to be okay with it. Because of this Everett will defend his superiors and will  talk down on himself for feeling empathy towards the other Stardragon cultures.
He actually isn't able to study one of the closest Dasher settlements to The Capital because one of the few who actually allowed him to study with them ended up having his gem stolen by Everett, the Shooter having felt obligated to break ties when a romance developed between them. Since then he has kept himself emotionally distant while studying other Stardragons.

Relationships: 
Mozart: A "friend" from university. Has recently started to try and reconnect with him. They have their differences but Everett does enjoy being around him. He thinks his snarky honesty is endearing. Also tries really hard to impress him...surprisingly looks for a bit of validation from Mozart. He is sure Mozart actually really likes him! Or...he hopes so. Honestly just trying to have someone his age to connect with and an old school peer was a great option in his mind.

- Is an active serving Lieutenant in the Shooter military forces.
- First entered the military hoping to become a high ranking officer like his father was.
- Avoided wearing his glasses for most of his teen years.
- Was actively disrespectful to his teachers...usually outwardly corrected them, back-talked, or doodled crude images of them
- He no longer keeps up contact with his parents, rarely talks about them.
- Though he doesn't look like it he is quite strong thanks to his military training, but more-so in weapon work then with hand to hand combat.
- He isn't usually as bold in protecting himself, but if someone he cares about is threatened Everett will do all he can to fight for them.
