The all-black wearing, greatsword wielding, reclusive field agent of Nightwatch, Kris is somewhat of a boogeyman amongst the commonfolk of Soliace. Those close to her know that she's fiercely loyal, confident to a fault, and harbors a hatred for the lycantropy she's been afflicted with. After several chance encounters with Mel'anya, Kris has developed a fondness for the fire-headed comedian. However, this made Mel's sudden departure from Soliace all the more heartbreaking for both of them.
After being reunited with Mel, the two expressed their feelings for the other and quickly became a couple. Soon after, a life or death situation brought out the worst in both of them and caused them to understand each other and themselves on a deeper level.
Now the two of them are traveling together, hunting down the 7 members of the secret society of liches known only as Sevreeon. After severally damaging her sword beyond repair, Kris must face a greater challenge than getting used to a new weapon. Keeping it together in the largest city she's ever seen, Dista.
