Slate (ERROR!)

Appearance

Although it may change frequently, there does seem to be an attempt at a 'default' for Error Slate. His fur is gold with cream and dark blue accents, his brown jacket and leather (nose, pads, etc.) are replaced by bright green, and his pants are a stark white. His pupils are wider and the same bright green as his jacket and now have a horizontal line struck through them.

Error Slate's physical body is erratic as well. The surface microbots ripple and shift at random, his hair moves and bends unnaturally, and overall he walks and moves inconsistently; stumbling and struggling or sprinting and leaping about with perfect agility.

Error Slate at most times tends to lack a definite personality. Like most other things, his behavior shifts erratically. Excitable, reclusive, nervous, and eager are some common reoccurring traits, though occasionally he's shown bouts of hostility, lunging at others and trying to bite or scratch them. Thankfully his strength is unaffected by this corrupted state and he's generally not a threat even during these times.

Overall he's very uncoordinated- outside of bouts of perfect agility, obviously. In normal circumstances his fingers simply don't cooperate, either shaking or not responding at all. In extreme cases this sometimes affects his legs as well.

Occasionally he can seem to regain some conscious thought, though during these times he seems to be too distracted by pain or discomfort to do much with his coherency.

Error Slate retains all abilities of normal Slate, though some are modified.

Screens
In the ERROR state, the tag loses power twice as quickly. This especially manifests in random small discharges of electricity, which can damage himself as well as others.

Activity
The buttons on Slate's tag have random functionality. Sometimes they'll work, sometimes not; this depends on the exact damage that occurred. If possible, it is ideal to deactivate him.

Color Changing
Slate can not consciously control his color changing anymore, making camouflage impossible. Myriads of colors dance across various parts of his body at random.

Brightness
Slate can not consciously control his brightness anymore. It usually defaults to the brightest possible.

Error Slate is extremely uncoordinated and is not viable to partake in combat. More likely, he will exhibit extreme distress when threatened and will attempt to flee rather than meet his aggressor- even moreso than usual. Random bursts of electricity from his body can help deter aggressors, but he can't control these.
