Design Terms of Use
EDITING MY WORK
This is allowed, so long as you follow these rules:
- Only minor edits, such as adding clothes/accessories/colors are allowed. No complete recolors/hueshifts. if you're not sure what you're doing is allowed, feel free to ask me!
- DO NOT DELETE/REPLACE THE OG IMAGE. If editing my art, always reupload the edited image and credit me as an offsite artist. You are welcome to "hide" the og image though, if it's an outdated design now.
- Only edit my work if you own the character in question.
VOIDING
Voiding my species designs are allowed, so long as the species they're apart of allows it.
If voiding a design of mine, you MUST redesign it so that it no longer looks like a member of the species (example, a tea beetle would need the horn, backpack and spiracles removed as those are the species' defining characteristics)
TRADING and SELLING
Do not resell designs for more than they're worth, and if they have no monetary worth, selling is not permitted.
REDESIGNING
This is of course allowed, with only a few restrictions!
- No complete palette changes or hueshifts. Adding or removing colors is of course ok.
- Do not turn them into a closed/open species without my consent. I've had a lot of issues with this in the past, so I'm a bit wary of this. Sorry! I'm far more open with them being turned into a personal species between you and your friends.
- Do not redesign them into offbrands of CS/OS, and do not redesign them to resemble an existing design. If you're found to have been doing this I will IP block you.
- You may redesign them to resemble an existing design that YOU own, if you do this they must be "linked"and traded together.
COMMERCIAL USE
- I offer commissions for personal and private use ONLY. Commissioners do not have the right to sell my art in any way, shape or form - including on merchandise, or minting as NFTs.
- If you obtain a design from me, feel free to use the design(not my art of the character) for Commercial Use(excluding NFTs). Credit is necessary, and I would highly prefer if you contacted me on how to go about it.
