The Looming Sea Beast
"Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul"
Piers is a mystifying sea beast of strong emotion. He can be spotted on rainy autumn mornings, obscured by the fog above the sea. Often exploring aimlessly, it’s almost as if he resides in constant transition. Burdened by expectation, he escapes to the current. The cold, unrelenting waves provide him a keen awareness of his presence. He loves exploring sunken ships and hidden coves. Though terrifying, he gets a thrill from swimming above the unknowably deep chasms in the ocean. Piers finds great comfort in relinquishing control to exist in the quiet, and the cold.
Piers often finds himself adrift, discontented to exist without purpose. He loves to stay busy, and you can often find him invested in a story or crafting one of his own. He easily becomes bored when not in the presence of friends, but appreciates time to himself just as much. He spends hours at a time spewing nonsense about different types of whales or his sensational travels to anyone who will listen. When the waves envelope in an unrelenting fog and the wind nips at your ear, rest assured that Piers is there.

- tall, broad shoulders, sturdy build
- can be anthro with webbed feet or feral/serpent like
- hair blends into head markings, small widows peak marking underneath hair
- star & stripe motifs, referencing Rockwell Kent's Moby Dick illustrations
- star beauty mark on left cheek
- can breathe a heavy fog
- doesn't always have to be serious!! he's honestly kinda goofy
- right ear fin is torn
- fangs can be sticking out or hidden
