Living by himself, for himself, within the vast Ever Winter has made Arkos a lot more inconsiderate and impulsive to those around him, mostly because there are no others around him other than himself. He tends to hog food for himself and is more reminiscent to a wild animal than your average shifter. This may be because he barely uses his human form. He complains without fur, the skin gets cold easily. So most of his days are spent exclusively within his lion form. Despite his first impressions, he can be shown to be well-read. He's quite knowledgeable when it comes to the Ever Winter and the things he has learned from it, when the ice and snow was not as excessive as it is now. He is also very steadfast, loyal to those of whom he has deemed worthy of his loyalty, though he has yet to find anyone quite like that yet. He is also very active, and very fit. He can travel long distances without much of a break, and can trek for miles in the deep, deep snow. Arkos is a survivor, though how he became that way, one must find out.

Backstory
Arkos was born and raised within the Ever Winter, to a family that had many other children along with him, but he was special. Because his lion form had a strange phenomena about it, for within his lion form Arkos's paws and nose glowed with a eerie blue glow. The glow only grew brighter when the moon was not present in the sky, and such a thing worried his family. Nevertheless, they loved him very much and brought him up in the way he should go. However, he did not want to go off and find some woman to marry. No, what he wanted to do was go out and explore the world, and live on his own instead of having to depend on his family. So, after he was old enough, he bid his family farewell and wandered out into the wilderness.
He quickly realized that the skin of a human was not suited for the snow, so shifted into his lion form. After some time, he adapted to the coldness, and his fur grew thicker, allowing him to remain warm even in the coldest of nights. This pleased him, and seeing how life would be much easier this way, he proceeded to live the life of a nomad, wandering around and living off the land. Since he had left his family, he had not seen any other people quite like him. All he had seen is the wilderness and the wildlife that can live within the harsh cold, which often makes him wonder if he and his family were the only ones left in this never-ending snow. He ponders this sometimes, but otherwise he just continues on with his own life. Perhaps he'll find someone someday, but for now he's more than content to live life on his own.
