A 19 year old harpy who once was human. In her earlier years she grew up in a strict and tight family, who was very keen on disciplining their child to being obedient. Dreaming of a place where she could be herself, she in an act of rebellion visited the village's witch in secret at the age of 11. Requesting to live another life free of restraints and rules, the witch found no better solution than to turn the little girl into a monster and set her out in the world. Turned into a harpy, she ran away into the wilderness to find the life she wanted. Struggling to come by, still getting used to her new self, she eventually was picked up by a flock of adult harpies who offered her shelter and care. When she saw herself fit she left the nest to once more seek out her ideal destiny, now with a focus on finding her purpose in the world rather than freedom.
Ruben is a chirpy, silly and peculiar harpy. Loving games and pretending to know more than she does, she usually gets on the wrong side of those who know better and she throws any advice given to her aside in favor of finding her own way. To look down on her or lecture her about how the world works is the last thing to do if one wants to get closer to her. If nothing fun is happening she will see to starting something, without fail.
