Aquami Hydrix

BIO

Aquami Hydrix is an Arcinian hailing from Titanim, who came to Windsong Square looking for a change of pace...and maybe to get away from the prying eyes of the rest of her kind. It's not quite clear what happened to Aquami while she was still in development, but she was born bearing quite the variety of strange traits- her whole lower body from the hips down covered with gemscales, her gem proper a long, smooth horn, and- most worryingly- a pure, milky white gem. An Arcinian being born with a white gem is quite a distressing thing, as with a white gem, they are forever unable to use Arcanus.

Aquami grew up a bit of an outsider among her fellow Arcinians. Not only did she look very odd what with her gemscales and long horn, her inability to use the very magic type that practically defines her species made her a little bit of an outcast. She was an introvert from day one, so she didn't really mind not having real-world friends...and, eventually, she did find a solution to the "no Arcanus" problem. It just so happened that alongside Arcanus, her parents were also experts in hydromancy- water magic. And so, she dedicated study to the art, slowly learning how to supplement her missing magic type with a whole new one entirely.

Nowadays, Aquami lives in south Windsong Square with her friends and fellow Heroes of Windsong, Akira and Orianne, spending most of her time either surfing the Internet or playing video games. She's a bit of an asocial shut-in and does not do very well around people, but is surprisingly warm around her very small circle of friends.
