Profile
When lost in the ice and snow, the best thing to see is a light in the distance. Atka spends much of his time helping lost travellers find their way to warmth and safety. He carries a lantern that has a light that can be seen for miles even through the thickest snow, and the keen eye of his hawk Yuka helps him track down the lost and forlorn. He is considered a guardian spirit by those around him.

Ikkuma [ mate ]
Atka and Ikkuma met by chance - Atka's regular route through the arctic crossed with Ikkuma's wandering. He thought she was lost, and she found herself charmed by him and played off that she was indeed lost. They talked for hours as they walked together, and became fast friends, and later forged a romantic relationship, and have been together ever since.
Sakari [ adopted daughter ]
Sakari was found by Atka on one of his explorations, cold and alone. He convinced her to come home with him and after hearing her story, he and Ikkuma offered her to live with the pair as their adopted daughter. Sakari was hesitant at first, missing her parents and sibling, but Atka likes to think that she loves them as parents now.
