appearance dahlia is 6' tall and her figure is generally hidden beneath a large, yellow clown jumpsuit with pink baubles down the front. the suit is somewhat cinched at the waist, giving the appearance of being two pieces, although it is just one. the collar of the jumpsuit is ruffled with silver and pink, and she wears yellow tights under pink ballerina-style shoes with silver baubles. she wears a party-style hat that is the same yellow as her jumpsuit and has a pink bauble at the tip and silver stripe embellishments. she has light skin, dark brown hair with a long fringe, and brown eyes that border on hazel. her makeup includes white face paint, black stripes over each eye, pink paint over her nose, and pink hearts for her cheeks. personality dahlia is a wild-west based cowgirl rogue who wears a clown costume. her primary weapons are twin aurora pistols. she has a generally mysterious past and is mischievous and sneaky– but she has her own sort of twisted moral code that she will not go against no matter what. she speaks in a southern drawl. she can't read or do math or swim, all of which started as jokes and became pains in the ass in the campaign. she is bisexual with a preference towards women and tends towards polyamory although she is faithful in closed relationships. her technical alignment is lawful evil but she strays into chaotic at some points. her relationship with gender is iffy at best, though she prefers the term nonbinary woman and uses both she and they pronouns. backstory dahlia was raised by one biological mother and 3 other women who were in a polyamorous relationship. she grew up nomadic across the wild west and for a time was a part of a circus as clown acts. this is where dahlia met hamlet, hardtime, and hearse, a set of siblings who were around the same age as her. they became friends! but then dahlia's bio mom passed away after a freak accident in the circus tent and dahlia and her three other moms left the circus and went back to traveling alone. dahlia broke off from her mothers at sixteen, falling in with a vampire coven and beginning a romantic relationship with the leader, vesper. this lasted for a time, in which dahlia was fed from but never turned, and she was taught the ways of crime. however, athena went behind dahlia's back and effectively cheated on her two years in, which is when she split and visited her mother's grave. there, she reconnected with her childhood friend hamlet. dahlia and hamlet quickly fell deeply in love. alongside hardtime and hearse, hamlet and dahlia formed a criminal posse. the four of them, alongside some underlings, conducted heists and claimed spaces of power, originally under the guise of being robin hoods, but not holding themselves to the same standards. they became corrupt, and while hamlet and dahlia were making heart eyes at each other, hardtime and hearse planned against the two, having formed a distrust of their relationship and their sister in general. this is when the campaign comes into play. hardtime and hearse orchestrated a failed heist in which hamlet unintentionally died and called the lrian council on dahlia. dahlia was taken from the jail cell by the council and deposited in the fields of lria. campaign glossing over a bunch to get to dahlia-centric stuff, dahlia meets an npc named blaire darkblade in the wild west pocket of hoot who runs a tavern. they have sex. when the party is teleported to palynasia, they find that there is a blaire lookalike running a futuristic tavern, the broken glory. when first approaching, it's pretty obvious she's a futuristic blaire, but the universe automatically changes the words blaire darkblade into britella tronechini. dahlia forms an intense relationship with britella, sleeping with her multiple times and flirting over milkshakes and such. when dahlia went to ask blaire if she was okay with an open relationship, britella reveals that she wanted to be exclusive with dahlia, which turns dahlia off because she is still mourning hamlet. shortly after this, britella’s room is ransacked and footage is recovered of her being dragged to the empty nightclub and likely sacrificed. when the party eventually enters the dungeon pathway to kyle, god of croutons, britella is supine on a stone slab with a key beneath her. dahlia is extremely relieved. britella puts the key in her mouth, transfers it to dahlia’s via kiss, and dahlia swallows it, initiating the final boss battle of the campaign. there, it is revealed that britella is a literal puppet of the council. dahlia doesn’t understand this, and runs into an attack as she pretends to be normal again. dahlia is forced to kill britella in front of the audience of hundreds of thousands. thankfully, after the battle is over and lria begins to dissolve, blaire returns, revealing that she pretended to be britella throughout britella and dahlia’s relationship, hiding from the “real” britella, who is a clone of blaire. the attack on britella was faked and bait. dahlia and the party choose to proceed together into the real world as lria disintegrates, living in an apartment together. and finally, once in the real world, at aketa and yce’s wedding, blaire approaches dahlia, holding her hand out, and asking to start over. post-campaign one shot three years have passed in the real world. dahlia now lives with blaire and their cat, sprinkles, and they stream on twitch. as the original party and various npcs gather for a new year's eve bash, fraeya, elora, and dahlia are transported to a Bad End timeline, retuning to palynasia as members of the council. in this timeline, dahlia has killed blaire for being a rebel and has traded her guns for a pin that allows her to read perfectly. the three party members do not understand what is happening, and shenanigans ensue as they try and figure out how to reset and go back to their own timeline. in the end, haden vutsk shoots them with one bullet, sending everyone back to where they should be-- except haden tags along.
