• Introspective: The siblings who thinks before he leaps, Eilian is a thoughtful individual who reflects on his own reactions to situations. He keeps a diary on his experiences that he regularly updates along with any research logs he’s keeping for his field work.

 Trivia

• - His name, Eilain, is a Welsh name derived from the word eilio, meaning "second, a moment in time." His name was chosen to match the time theme of Horace's name
• - His surname, Norwood, is both loosely direction themed and plant themed, meaning "north woods." He gets his surname from Goh, as he was the one pregnant with Eilian.
• - He was the accident baby of his siblings, conceived from an ill-timed hook up between his parents when Goh’s heat hits him earlier than he was expecting while he was spending time with Horace. Goh was dating Ash at the time, so the hookup and resulting pregnancy hits him badly, even if Ash isn’t particularly upset once Goh confesses what happens. Horace doesn’t become a more proper third member in their relationship right away, but due to being the father of the child Goh is expecting, he’s very involved in the parenting side of things. Goh wanted his close friend to have a chance to be a father to his child, and Goh wanted to be involved as well. It’s through the three of them taking care of Eilian that the trio slowly grow to have a romantic relationship together.
• - Eilian is a passable competitive battler and did travel through Kanto to challenge the Indigo Leaque the year he was old enough to compete. He finds he doesn't much care for competing though, and goes on to help Professor Cerise (and Goh) with field work.
• - He has a pretty massive crush on Jett, but keeps his feelings to himself. He sees the situation as a lost cause, given Jett's approach to relationships.
