Pilot spends the majority of his time currently either working in his family workshop, or hanging around with his friends, Emile, Iris and Spriter. The activity of what the group does tends to vary week on week. He also tends to meet up with Everett on occasion, but these are usually separate visits with his brother, Technik.

In his freetime away from friends, Pilot enjoys going out in his plane, watching movies with his brother, playing with his pet or customising a variety of furbies. Some of these custom furbies Pilot sells on Etsy, but he does keep a couple for himself.

CURRENT STORY  

Pilot was searching for scrap in the junkyard with his closest friend, Emile, when they suddenly could hear rustling from between the trash piles. Upon closer inspection, the duo had come across a disturbing alien creature taking on a humanoid form. Coincidentally, the very same creature that Emile had been researching for years before.

Upon making a bond with the creature, against Emile’s best wishes, they decided to keep it in hiding for the meantime. Using the time to learn more about them without the interfering or prying eye of the public. The alien, Spriter, enjoys their companionship. Wishing to understand human culture, they tag along on the crew’s misadventures.

CHILDHOOD 

Pilot was born 28th March, 1993. He grew up with his older brother, mother, and father, and lived a relatively normal life until the age of 7. Shortly after turning seven years old, Pilot’s mother, Lorelei Braune, became the victim of a strange disappearance. Overnight, with her mother’s disappearance, the atmosphere of the house seemed to change. His father, Kollen Braune, became more distant to his two children as he dealt with the grief of his missing wife.

Kollen still very much loved his two sons, though his emotional availability was limited. As a result of this, Pilot and his older brother, Technik, grew incredibly close as they navigated childhood. The Braunes did not attend public school until the age of 9 and 11, so their social adeptness was lacking for a good while.

Pilot took to school a lot better than Technik did, due to his generally perkier outlook and more outgoing nature. That being said, elementary school was still not a walk in the park. Both Braunes were a little socially mal-adjusted, leading to slight bullying for a good while. Pilot had a small group of friends, but none that stuck with him to adulthood.

High School was a similar story for Pilot. He attended with a positive attitude, but was never exactly the highest on the social step-ladder. The bullying did affect him to a pretty large degree, in the back of his mind to this day he continues to second guess others’ opinions of him. But he does his best to keep a positive mind and not allow his experience to make him bitter. The bullying in his teenage years was a lot less frequent.

It was also in High School when Pilot and his brother started offering engineering and mechanical work in their workshop. The boys were already fairly knowledgeable in mechanics thanks to their father’s obsession with building, and figured it would be useful to add some more funds to their household name.
