Technik is a 30 year old engineer from Germany who resides in his workshop on the outskirts of town with his younger brother, Pilot Braune, and his father, Kollen Braune. The Braune brothers run an engineering/mechanical workshop in order to make money, whilst their degranged father works on creating his machine of immortality in the basement.
Technik is known to be a pretty reserved and quiet individual, keeping to himself and keeping to his own work. Many individuals on first meeting tend to get intimidated by his demeanour, but after a few conversations he shows himself to be no danger. Tech tries to be a helpful friend to everybody who comes to him for help, an internal need to protect and fix whatever's around him - oftentimes leading to him forgetting about himself. Tech has a hard time giving himself the self-love he needs, within his own self-care as well as how he percieves his body.

CHILDHOOD
Technik was born 17th November, 1991. He grew up with his younger brother, mother, and father, and lived a relatively normal life until the age of 9. Shortly after his younger brother's seventh birthday, their mother, Lorelei Braune, became the victim of a strange disappearance. Overnight, with her mother’s disappearance, the atmosphere of the house seemed to change. Their father, Kollen Braune, became more distant to his two children as he dealt with the grief of his missing wife.
Kollen still very much loved his two sons, though his emotional availability was limited. As a result of this, Technik and his younger brother, Pilot, grew incredibly close as they navigated childhood. The Braunes did not attend public school until the age of 9 and 11, so their social adeptness was lacking for a good while.
Technik did not take well into entering school. Severely socially mal-adjusted and far more introverted at heart than his brother, Tech found it incredibly difficult to navigate day to day school life. Secluding himself off to the side in an attempt to be as invisible as possible. Additionally, due to Technik's vastly different appearence to the other kids in school, Tech got bullied and teased a lot. With no other friends outside his brother in the schoolyard, he found things difficult.
High School was similar, though with enough effort Technik was able to get into slightly better social graces in his secondary school. He had a couple of friends, a new style, and although he would still often be teased about his odd appearence it was considerably less frequent than in his childhood. He would attend parties, and got his first girlfriend, Nina in these years. They would often ponder about running away from their hectic lives as teenagers do, Nina ready to take the leap and do it. Though Technik was not so sure. Things between the both of them did not work out in the end. His teenage years were better than his childhood ones, but still came with a lot of challenge.
It was also in High School when Technik and his brother started offering engineering and mechanical work in their workshop. The boys were already fairly knowledgeable in mechanics thanks to their father’s obsession with building, and figured it would be useful to add some more funds to their household name.

Trivia
- Tech is fluent in German, and knows a few words of English.
- Tech has an incredibly deep voice.
- Tech can be possessed by his father, Kollen.
- Due to being the child of two guardian forms, Technik's anatomy is incredibly disfigured. It doesn't hurt him, but it's significantly different to most humans.
- He has six extra eyes beneath his two main ones. When trying to blend in, he closes them, giving off the appearence of scars instead.
- Technik is 5'10, but due to his slouching to hide his body he usually ends up being around 5'8.
- Tech is very easily flustered.
- Tech does a lot of community volenteering in town for classes. Mostly cooking, but he does all sorts.
Relationships
Pilot Braune
Pilot is Technik's younger brother, who he is incredibly protective of. His brother is his number one priority, and he would do absolutely anything in order to keep Pilot safe
Everett Winters
Everett is Technik's closest confidant, and his loving boyfriend. Although Technik prefers to keep their relationship under wraps, he adores him more than anything in the world. When Technik is not in the workshop, he is usually with Everett.
Aldo-Emile Cicierega
Emile is Pilot's best friend. As a result, Technik and him meet each other frequently. Over the years, Emile has practically become additional family to them. Technik does worry about Emile a lot, and occasionally goes out of his way to make sure that he's safe.
Iris Anais Pyre
Iris is another one of Pilot's friends. Technik doesn't know her as well as he knows Emile, but does like her. He gives advice whenever she asks for it, and thinks she's a nice lady.
Kollen Braune
Kollen is Technik's father. Despite his far more aggressive parenting techniques, Technik still loves him dearly and cares about him a lot.
