Tattletail was created in a factory where other furby knockoffs like him were made. He stayed there for awhile until a father and mother came to pick him up. Tattletail was a birthday present for their daughter named Elise. Elise loved the gift and her and Tattletail became best friends. However, when Elise was 14, her parents died in a car accident. Elise didn't want to be adopted by a new family so she took her and Tattletail and went on the run. Elise heard rumors about how the studio was seemingly cursed, and if you went in there, you wouldn't come back out alive. Elise wanted to be the first to come back out alive so she and Tattletail went into the studio to see what the deal is. She and Tattletail turn on the ink machine and get trapped in the studio. They meet Inky when he's soulless, and the two of them avoid Inky at all costs while trying to leave the studio. Eventually they turn off the Ink Machine and get chased by Inky. The roof collapses on them and Inky is trapped under rubble. Instead of running away Elise and Tattletail free Inky and save him. Inky doesn't bother them after that. While walking back to the exit, the lights shut off and Elise is killed. When the lights turn back on Tattletail sees her body and is told that Bendy was the one who killed Elise. Gone mad with grief, Tattletail loses all compassion and opts to make life miserable for everyone. He sees Alyla die, and taunts Broken about it for days until he's stopped by Nightmare. A few weeks later however, Tattletail spots Alpha alone and crying, and knocks him out. He kidnaps Alpha, thinking he's Bendy. Even after Tattletail realizes that Alpha isn't Bendy he still tries to kill Alpha, but is stopped by Nightmare once again. Alpha feels bad for Tattletail, and offers for Tattletail to join them. He agrees and he joins the group. Tattletail starts teasing Broken again, but Nightmare once again puts him in his place by getting after him. Nightmare's lecture gave him a change of heart, and he tries to make up with Broken, however Broken won't forgive him. When the safehouse is attacked, Tattletail is kidnapped by Drippy, so that Drippy can use Tattletail for scrap metal. Drippy goes off to kill Alpha, and Tattletail is rescued by Nightmare. Nightmare tells Tattletail that Broken had died. Tattletail expresses remorse for how he had treated Broken, and promises to do better. He is then killed by Alice, dying right in front of Nightmare.
